I have dealt with this company for years with no recognition for continued loyalty. Called to purchase a solar cover. They totally misrepresented the price over the phone and when I arrived to purchase found out it almost double in $$. Got a sorry about your luck and brushed off. I guess thats where loyalty gets you. Nowhere.

Was in Smithville helping my niece open her pool. We ran into issues with skimmer so had to run into the pool store for replacement. The lady who helped us was excellent. My niece had to go in a couple of times and she went above and beyond. Even called from home after finishing. Thank you for your excellent service. I will put the persons name up when I find it out

Very overpriced materials and parts. Staff seems to be very confused most of the time and I've had a number of frustrating experiences now. Too many to not mention at this point.Got a skimmer replaced recently and it cost me upwards of $750 (parts + 30 minutes of labour) for a part that I've seen online for less than $100.I understand that COVID has caused everyone to be a bit slower or a bit more stressed than usual, which I totally understand, which is why I even bothered with 2 stars instead of 1.I'll continue to buy my liquid chlorine from them, but I think I'm probably getting ripped off with that, too.

Purchased a new sand filter. Got it home and hooked it up..leaked at the bottom winter value. Drive back to the store twice…..Suzn is wonderful. Had to order a service call…..they were great. Essentially the filter was put together wrong at the factory, the service guy called and told them it was a defect and not our fault. Stated that no one would have found that issue, and most others would have replaced the entire filter. He called and asked for us to not be charged and was told we had to pay $182 dollars for the 5 min fix on top of the $600 we paid for the filter because we purchased a defective filter from their store…..super disappointed in this experience to date .

After 4 years working with Suzn on keeping the family pool in primo condition I felt the need to just post this review! For anything you need speak with her. She has been professional with our water tests and with her product recommendations and just overall good pool maintenance. Our pool has been looking and feeling great since we got it in 2018. Thank you Suzn!!!

I called Paradise pools on Saturday as I was having an issue with my hot tub water for the second time in eight weeks. I tried to deal with the place that I bought my hot tub from but for some reason can never get through to anybody and emails are left on answered. The water was cloudy and my strips were reading that the water was perfect. I called the number for the Grimsby store and spoke to Teresa who then said that I could reach Heather at the store. I drove to the Grimsby store and met Heather. I have to say she has the best customer service and knowledge that I have encountered so far within the pool and spa business. She explained everything to me after doing a water test, helped me pick out the proper chemicals and walked me through the whole process of getting our water back to norma. It’s been 24 hours and we’re getting there with the water. This morning I emailed her and she responded on her day off. This type of customer service nowadays is hard to find and I’m really grateful that I’ve now found a place where I can put a face to the voice and help me with my pool and spa needs. Five star service. I wish I would have known of them before as I would have bought our Hot Tub there. Thank you To Heather and the 2 young gentlemen there this weekend!

We opened up our pool and had multiple services from here.1. Opening up the pool - friendly staff, quick and answered our questions about how all the pieces like the filter worked. They setup the pool and told us to go to their store to do a pH test for rebalancing.2. pH test - we went to Paradise Pools after 3 days as instructed. We communicated we were new pool owners - they had our pool on file with previous owners and updated our file. They gave us all the chemicals and told us to add it into the pool with clear instructions and to come back after 1 month for retesting. Overall experience was positive at that point.We used the pool and everything was great until after 2 weeks the pool has turned a muddy green. We went back to the store to ask what happened and spent $100 on chemicals to kill the algae and were told we should have done XYZ to maintain the pool even though we weren’t asked to do that during our initial visit.It would have been nice if they offered to cover the cost as I felt like they missed out key instructions from the beginning. We are stuck with scrubbing down the pool, paying for chemicals on what is a hideous sight for the time being AND need to go back for testing and rebalancing.All in all staff was friendly but unfortunately lacked thorough instructions for pool maintenance costing us extra time and money.

Two visits over three weeks looking for liquid chlorine, (something you would assume is like their milk and bread). Nope, and nope. I’ve never been to the pool shoppe in Hamilton and found them to be out of chlorine… I guess they manage this. Also, the pool shoppe doesn’t charge for water tests, or scold customers for expecting that. No point in going back here, and what a shame. The place that used to be in Grimsby was excellent.

Just had my pool closed for the first time by Jose and Coby, and they were awesome! Extremely professional, worked fast and efficiently with no issue. Really friendly and knowledgeable, great advice for a first time pool owner like myself. Would definitely reccomend these two to other clients and would love to have them open my pool next season. Thanks again guys!
