They helped me become who I am today. From a young man I worked hard to become a peer support as well as other opportunities. I am so happy they have such amazing staff and clients

I have been struggling with mental health issues for about the last 2 years and was finally hospitalizated recently. I guess I fell through the cracks at Lakeridge and was never set up with after hospitalization resources. Luckily I found this resource on my own and was told I should have had a visit while I was in Lakeridge. Anyways, the staff were so pleasant when I went into the Oshawa office a d they pointed me towards some programs that may be beneficial for someone in my situation. I haven't followed up on these yet as I'm waiting for some other appointments, but needed to share my good experience with going into the office. Thanks for the warm welcome.

I had great help before the woman I worked with went on maternity leave. Successfully accessing information to all types of programs to help. However it's the other places that say they can't help or they have no room or too much meeting the criteria and then some that it's too much for these help programs like cope that turn one away when they're at their wits end ready to take their own lives.

I came here for help before pandemic started around four months. No serious help was received before and after. Cronavirus was being used as an excuse to be lazy even though theres tons of people comig in with court orders. Somthing i dont have. I had to treat myself with sliver nitrate for hypergranulation tissue. This clinic is still apart of my suffering each and everyday * yes thats right im still suffering 2years plus* even though i don't come here. The reception & The nurse practitioners effected my life that much. This is a censored post. Otherwise more would be said. I dont recommend coming here ever. Dont bother asking for help they dont have your best interest of health in mind. Unless its court ordered even then i think people still get unprofessional treatment.

Recently went to CMHA Durham as a walkin. Referral services on site. Informative and knowledgeable staff to guide me through the mental health system. Educational day programs and case management are helpful for those who need some assistance while living with mental health. I would recommend going to CMHA Durham for services related to mental health.

A vital piece of services for my mental health.Gone through drastic, changes, especially the 4th floor. Being very adaptive in these times as well as before, the alterations have been inclusive in its evolutionary development. Now, the Recovery College. Which is greatly appreciated. The classes based on CHIME framework, each class will be based around each letters. Representing- Connectedness. Hope/Optimism. Identity. Meaning. And. Empowerment~!♡♤

The NPLC is an incredible clinic. I was referred to the NPLC at first for the smoking cessation program. Thankfully, at the end of my 10 month run I am now successfully cigarette free! Thank you NPLC for the support! Without this program, I would not have had the funds nor the emotional support to begin this journey let alone successfully complete it.Recently, I have been accepted to the NPLC for trans care. The nurses are kind and considerate. They explain in depth and answer any questions you may have in a very timely fashion. They are diligent and are working closely to monitor my disability during my transition. Thank you again, NPLC, for having professional and compassionate trans care!

I feel like I have to do a lot of running" around when it comes to this place. I have a hard time trying to figure out what services they can help me with cause they don't tell you. I was removed from their services because I wasn't available every week because of work. It's also hard to get in contact with a specific person

CMHA has come along way over the last 15 years that I've been a client.I think they have finally put together a staff that will make things happen and I see and feel the care they have for us.

They don't read the client's files therefore they have no clue as to what each client needs or wants. I find that they harass their clients. I do not trust them
