This is our little girl Dua! She is a 3 year old pit/heeler mix. She was diagnosed with serve lymphoma on 1/31/23. It was the worst news I have ever received. She holds a special place in our hearts and home. As emotionally as we were we knew we had to take action quickly. We live in Buffalo NY and struggled to get her in somewhere. We were referred to OVC by a friend. After the first appointment via phone I knew this was our route. The doctor had a sense of urgency, ease and sincerity that we haven’t experienced yet. The staff, process and faculty was nothing less than superb. We drove 2 hours each way every three weeks for chemo treatments. After one chemo treatment Dua went in early remission. On her last treatment in May she rung the bell surrounded by her favorite dads and the whole staff. We pray that the cancer stays away as long as possible. Highly highly highly recommend OVC!

What an incredible group of people! Dr Hawker and his team took such great care of my dog, Samson. They were very kind to Samson and they were great about keeping me up to date on Samson's procedures and condition. Samson is home and recovering nicely. Huge thanks to all at OVC!

Top quality affordable pet care... this is #1 rated vet school with hands-on student training supervised by top notch professors. Visits are 2X to 3X longer than our regular" vet but it's worth the time investment for quality care. Our puppies also enjoy the first rate love and attention. We are very happy to continue supporting this fantastic school!"

I have two Huskies and both times we've had major issues this vet came through and saved their lives.I spent thousands at other vets that just caused more problems and wasted my money. Both dogs took 1 appointment and they've been healthy and happy ever since.I'm not sure what it's like today. But thank you for the professionalism and doing things properly back in the day.

They were great with us. Even though we lost our sweet Niko too early. They did everything they could to help. Their thoughtful card was really appreciated.

Staff were all really friendly, accommodating and helpful. The Doctors were so kind, listened to us and were very professional. We had to drive in from London as there's no weekend emerge here but it was worth the drive knowing that our dog was being cared for by such wonderful people.

Ontario Veterinary College saved my little buddy Nacho's life.I have a Yorki 8 months and he is me and my wife's best friend. For 2 weeks my little buddy was feeling sick and after going to see 4 veterinarians 3 of them stated he had a neck injury and I was told to just let him rest for 2 weeks. That was a bad idea, WRONG Diagnosis!1 of the veterinarians the last one I saw Dr. Amany Ghali from Aquitaine Animal Hospital diagnosed my Nacho right. He knew something was wrong with the little guy and gave him an antibiotic shot which later proved to give my Nacho sometime to live. This was important! At around 2:00 a.m my Nacho was getting up sitting down getting up sitting down moving all around the place like he was confused. He was also moaning so went right away and brought my buddy to Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Animal Hospital. They diagnosed him for about 4 hours and we were told that Nacho was in critical condition and needs to be transferred to Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. I had to pick Nacho up and drive 1 hour out to Guelph. When I arrived in Guelph at Ontario Veterinary College I was greeted at the front door and he was put right away into the intensive care unit as he was in critical condition. He couldn't even move on the way up driving to Guelph it was like he was dying. After a while we received a call to do some tests on Nacho. They did a CT Scan and found Nacho had a bacterial infection in his brain. He had Bacterial Meningitis in his brain which is EXTREMELY RARE.Ruby Ng from Ontario Veterinary College whom is very polite and knows how to take care of your dog told me the amount of pus in Nacho's brain surprised everyone there that he was still alive.I had to make a decision to operate on my buddy and it was a 50/50 chance as they had no studies for this surgery and they needed to admit Nacho in quick to stop the spreading of the bacteria in his brain. We decided to go with the surgery as I was told my Nacho was fighting for is life. So we decided to proceed with the surgery even though this was a high risk brain surgery that needed to be performed.Me and my wife want to thank Ontario Veterinary College for their expertise and all the staff that helped save my dog Nachos life. This surgery was extremely difficult as it had to do with my dogs brain.Ruby Ng and Gibran Castillo was extremely helpful, very detailed, comforting and very informative keeping us up to date on Nacho's outcome.Fiona James the supervisor who operated on Nacho along with Ruby Ng and Gibran Castillo saved my Nacho's life.Nacho is doing extremely well now and is recovering quickly. This was also over a weekend so I want to thank Ontario Veterinary College for rushing my little buddy Nacho in and performing surgery with perfection and excellence. No other animal hospital could have performed this procedure only Ontario Veterinary College had the expertise to perform this type of brain surgery.Thank you Ontario Veterinary College for saving my Nacho's life. Me and my wife's best friend.5 stars for Ontario Veterinary College along with Fiona James, Ruby Ng and Gibran Castillo. Thank you for saving my best friends life!
