Was looking for something specific which was out of stock. Bought these sale items though.

Drove in to buy some chefs jackets... they had none in my size... they had lots of larger and smaller ones.I was also looking for a chefs knife... again they had cheap ones and really expensive ones...This was my second disappointing trip there.

AlanThanks for you advice on the purchase of the Proxi upholstery cleaner. I used to remove stains that were approx 5 years old and this product worked amazing also the Instant out worked equally as well highly recommend either product . Here's before and after photo.Thanks again.

Purchased Kranzle 1122 pressure washer from Big Erics over the phone via CC on Aug 29/21. Communication was ok at the beginning before the purchase, afterwards, not so much, although the distributor seemed to have a serious issue with basic customer service.The 1st pressure washer was received damaged (the plastic surrounding it had a crack) where i was concerned the pump could have been affected. The very first thing from Big Erics was this was my fault because I didn't open the boxes and unpack the item while the shipper was at my residence. Excuse me! After many many weeks of back and forth, they decided to replace the item only after they supposedly were to ship me a new plastic cover.I tested the pressure washer and it was not functioning properly (big surprise). It then took several more weeks to get another one with very little communication, they already had my $. After 3 weeks that the distributor agreed to replace the item, I tired to cancel the order, after being told I couldn't, I heard nothing for several more weeks until one day the shipper dropped by. No communication it was on the way, or to coordinate I would even be home! I never received a RMA to ship the failed item back, the shipper asked for it. All very sketchy.

Excellent staff and pretty good prices. Even for consumer stuff. It's like Winners or Princess Auto ... you need to keep going back to see what's new. Great bartending tool selection too.And they sell the Henry vacuum which is the simply the best.

I like to come here to buy Flavacol popcorn salt, and also the Torani flavor syrups. I have found that the customer service here can be hit or miss.

Big Eric's is expanding to provide more commercial grade products to home cooks - Big Eric's at Home. Lots of higher end kitchen and entertaining products. Bought some awesome frying pans the and got a great deal on a Henckels knife (opening special).

One of metro's best kept secrets. If you like cooking or cleaning these guys have the stuff you need. Extra large mixing bowls, no problem. Have a favorite cleaning product, they have it. Great staff.

I love it here so, so much.I had been here a few years ago and recently went back to pick up a few things. I was able to get several high quality paring knives, mugs, and some other baking necessities for a little over $100. Prices are extremely reasonable and the products are excellent quality. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Big Eric's is my go-to for kitchen supplies!

GREAT staff, always funny and interested in helping out. Great product range, perfect for the culinary hobbyist that wants commercial grade in their kitchen. If you like to cook, but you haven't shopped here, you're doing it wrong! THEY RECENTLY ADDED A NEW KNIFE SECTION. Their selection of high end kitchen knives is easily the best in Halifax.
