Superior Canine was recommended to me by our Toronto area after we moved to Vancouver. They said he was the best in Vancouver and surrounding area. I reached out to Aaron for help with the Service Dog Public Access test. I can see why the 5-star reviews and why he is the best. Aaron came out all the way to Vancouver to meet with me. It only took two sessions and I saw immediate improvements on his Public Access skills. My dog successfully passed the SD Test last week. I highly recommend Aaron for all your working dog needs.

I rarely post reviews, but Superior Canine rightfully deserves a five-star rating. Superior Canine provided our family with a personal protection dog with solid obedience skills. Aaron Kemp is a Master Trainer, professional and knowledgeable, and we couldn’t be happier with this amazing dog from Superior Canine. Our decision to invest in a PPD was money well spent. The peace of mind and genuine feeling of safety in our home is more than worth it. Research has proven PPD dogs are a great deterrent to intruders are one of the most effective security measures for any property. This beautiful, highly trained German Shepherd is so intelligent and responds to all his commands. He is perfectly obedient! More importantly, he has proven himself to be a loyal guard dog in our home. He is so willing to please us, he is so much fun and truly a faithful companion. He plays ball, soccer to be exact, and even in the middle of play he will leave the ball when told to leave it, heel and sit, stay and come etc. But when the need arises for him to do his job, with one command he becomes our hero. There is no doubt, he is not only a bold protector but a precious member of our family. This friendly and extremely well-trained dog comes on walks and outings with us and not just for protection in this crazy world, but because we truly enjoy and love him. The services Aaron offers are “Superior”. The care, and attention to detail he provides are second to none. Aaron at Superior Canine possesses an outstanding commitment to helping dog owners and has been a wealth of knowledge and assistance even long after our PPD was placed in our home. He is an expert in his industry, with many certifications and extensive experience working with police, military, and security services. We would highly recommend him and Superior Canine to anyone looking for a Personal Protection Dog or for obedience training for your pet dog. Aaron and the team at superior canine go above and beyond. I truly felt like I was leaving my “child” (1yr old pitbull/husky) in the best of hands. They treat every dog as if they were their own and aim for the highest level possible when it comes to the success of the student.My dog was taken to Aaron as a reactive and nervous boy, he had a couple bite incidents and professional help was needed! I walked out of superior canine’s facility with a whole new dog. Happy, relaxed, and confident as opposed to the nervous boy he went there as. I now have the confidence to walk my boy through crowds and around other dogs!I would recommend superior canine to anyone who is looking for professional and successful help, you will NOT be disappointed!

5 Stars are not a high enough rating for Aaron and his crew at Superior Canine when Royce first arrived at his venue I had my doubts but he has been transformed into a very smart and obedient dog , I am over the moon with the training methods and professional help Royce has received anyone can benefit from these methods . We had been to two other trainers before going to Superior . My advice is to go to Superior first your dog will be the winner

I have learned more from Aaron than I have from any other trainer. He is so supportive throughout the entire process. I would not be where I am today without him. I could not ask for a better mentor. His school for dog trainers is in-depth and hands-on. Tessa is great too :)

I would give more than five stars if google would permit. Aaron and his team did fantastic work in training my dog Bruno. To begin with, Tessa was great when it came to communication and booking all the appointments, she made sure that all the appointments and assessments were booked properly and would make all efforts to reach by call, text and emails. Aaron and Jessi did great in training Bruno for his entire service dog training program me. I am thankful that I came across this amazing group of people who were passionate to train dogs and would love them as their own. They even gave weekly updates and sent pictures and videos of the training sessions. I was scared initially leaving Bruno behind for few weeks with some stranger and trusting them completely but seeing his excitement like entering a dog park every time he went back for training sessions made me realize I made the right decision. I would highly recommend everyone to at least try the consultation and trust this amazing team for the training as from my experience they are the best and know exactly what you and your dog need.

I initially saw Aaron a few years ago for help with my leash reactive GSD. He was amazing and from him, I developed a passion for dogs including getting my GSD involved with the Superior Canine PSA club.More recently, I took the School for Dog Trainers course with Aaron. He was an amazing teacher and it was a great experience. I learned a lot and it was a perfect balance between hands-on, take home reading, and lecture.I highly recommend Superior Canine and their staff for anything dog related!

Aaron and his team at Superior Canine took on our American Bulldog and all of her less than charming habits as we were getting ready to welcome a puppy into our home. They were able to work absolute magic with our dog and have her ready for social introductions. She went from being what we perceived as dog aggressive to being the best big sister a puppy could ask for. Aaron even came into our home to help with the introductions and ensure there was a successful outcome. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We look forward to having Superior Canine work with the new pup and are beyond grateful for all they have done (and continue to do) for our furry friends.

We contacted superior canine 4 1/2 years ago when we where having issues with our English bulldog (Winston). Many people were unable to help us with his difficult behaviours.Then we met Aaron with superior canine. Aaron took the time to sit with us and listen to all of the difficulties that were developing with winston and what we tried to do already. Aaron made a game plan with us and assured us he can help and winston issues weren’t permanent.We left our dog with him for 4 weeks. We get winston back and our dog issues evaporated basically. Aaron takes the time not only to train the dog but also teach us (the owners) how to work with your dog. Over the years we have had compliments on how well behaved our dog is. Our dog is still a stubborn bulldog but he is manageable and wonderful.4 1/2 years later we added another dog to our family of course we called superior canine. Aaron did a wonderful job. When it was time to pick up our dog and do the 1:1 training session Aaron took the time to include our children in the training session so they could be involved.We have recommended him to many friends and they have also fallen in love with superior canine.We also use him for pet boarding when we go away. The dogs are always so happy to get to his place the added bonus is that the obedience stays consistent when your away. Aaron and his staff have been a great resource over the years. Even years later if a issue or concern pops up behaviour wise a quick call or text later a date is made to assist. Aaron is great to deal with and from the looks of it takes great pride in his work.
