Jay has helped us out on more than one occasion. He fixed our fireplace a few months ago and we were blown away with his service. He came the same day that we called to evaluate the problem and was back within the week to install new parts. Just this week our furnace quit on us and Jay was extremely quick to come over, replacing our furnace within 24 hours. He stayed late into the evening to make sure that we had heat in our house. So thankful! We would recommend Jay's service to anyone in the Meaford area!

Jay was awesome, I had 3 other hvacs in prior to look at my central air unit, I already knew the issue but cooks plumbing took 3 hours to figure out what took jay 10 minutes, jay showed up as promised, was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, which is obvious watching him work, and time efficient. Jay also sorted out my Furness which I wasn’t even aware of being set up incorrectly, the second he adjusted everything to as it should be my house was pumping air like never before, and the ac unit was fixed perfectly. I will absolutely continue to use jay as my hvac guy and will recommend him to everyone I meet on future jobs.

Jason was able to help us with relocating a gas clothes dryer within a day or so when other companies wouldn't even return our calls. We were under the gun in that we needed it moved prior to our new clothes washer being delivered. Jason was very professional in all aspects of our job and quickly completed the changes to the gas line and venting duct. We highly recommend Jay's Heating and Cooling!

My husband and I spent $20k just about two years ago with Jay’s Heating and Cooling to install a new furnace, A/C, heat pump, gas fireplace, water heater, etc. Jason Lowrance told us if anything goes wrong to call him and he would be there to fix it, day or night---no questions asked. Our heat pump stopped working a year ago and it’s still not working now, only dripping grease all over the patio stone. We have called, emailed, texted dozens of times---mainly we’re ignored or things are delayed. My husband and I are busy and don’t have time to track this guy down to fix stuff he installed, just come and fix it. You know the unit is broken, why do we need to keep reminding you? We tried to be nice, accommodating, patient but enough is enough. We tried to get other trades in but they are all too busy, can’t get parts for this unit, or clearly don’t want the job. That leaves us waiting for Jason to come and fix the heat pump, which is under warranty. The entire project took considerably longer than what we were initially told, around 3-4 weeks longer. We were ready to cancel the job after the first week when our stairs were broken while Jason was hauling heavy tools and equipment downstairs. Some poor workmanship is visible throughout the project. The heat pump’s base was installed poorly causing a clearly visible tilt to one side, perhaps the reason behind the unit's failure? Also, the ceramic lining in our new fireplace is starting to pull away, creating voids at the seams. We're not impressed for the amount we paid for that fireplace. Jason was unfortunately a one man show for most of our job and I think our larger project was too much for him to handle. From our experience working with and now trying to deal with Jason---he doesn’t have enough time for customer service calls or warranty work. We paid Jason in full with the understanding that if something went wrong he would come and fix it. Waiting over a year for something like this is ridiculous.

We needed to replace our A/C and contacted Jason at Jay’s Heating & Cooling. Jason provided a consultation on the same day we called. He was professional and knowledgeable. When he installed our A/C shortly after, he showed up on time and completed the installation without issues. He answered all questions and was always focused on the work and professional. It’s been a few weeks and the A/C is working well. Thank you.

Highly recommended. During a recent heat way, when no one else would even talk to me about repairing our a/c, Jason came the same...after dinner!...& made the repair. His charge was very reasonable. As I say...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Jason did an amazing job. He changed the furnace, updated the existing system, and added an A/C unit (where there was none) for my mom. He not only completed the job but went above and beyond what you'd expect. In addition he is a lovely person and communicating with him was a breeze (the communication alone would have sealed the deal). I cannot adequately explain how glad I am that we went with him and his company for the work needed - and I have no doubt will always be with him.As a side note - it was great to chat with him about options like natural gas vs heat pump. He knew his stuff.Highly recommended.

Jason was thorough, patient and explained everything about the installation in great detail. He took the time to research with manufacturers and make sure all the components would work together properly. He completed a complex installation of boiler, water tank, furnace and heat pump in good time. Highly recommended!

Jay is very knowledgeable and patient in his work. He repaired a high end hood fan above my gas stove for me after a hydro pole from next door collapsed and caused a huge surge that killed the fan. While other contractors I had approached didn't even attempt to try to repair it and told me there was nothing that could be done and I needed to buy a new one, Jay took time to patiently search for the damaged part, track down where to purchase a replacement and then replaced it as soon as it arrived. Jay saved me the cost of purchasing and installing a new hood fan. I can now continue to create fantastic culinary feasts without worry. Thank you, Jay!
