Canalta Hotel Assiniboia

Stayed June 13. Arrived around10:30. Very clean Hotel, complimentary breakfast. Staff very helpful and polite. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was a king and comfortable. Lots of Channels. The lady who was managing was very helpful. The room rates where very high. Manager helped with rate because AMA , and corporate. Well 7 months later and truck breaks down. Guess where I am staying. Sofia the general manager was at front desk. Told her my problems and the truck is broken down. She found me a room and was feeling sorry for me and checked me into the jacuzzi room. What a nice room. Fireplace, jacuzzi, separate bedroom. The tub I used right away as I had no heat with truck broken down. Thanks Sofia for helping me out. The hotel is always clean. Rooms very clean. Staff always so friendly. Will be back .

This is a great place. I stay here when farming in the area. The staff seem to really care. So nice to see them taking care of the property. Even getting all the windows cleaned!

breakfast could be better - eggs were like eating rice too small pieces and bland.bread was terrible. could use more flavor in overall breakfast!

The canalta is exactly what you would expect. It's modern, clean and staffed with friendly folks. But it's expensive. Like really expensive for what your getting. The continental breakfast was okay. The eggs had been there a while, we went down at 07:00 and it started at 06:00. Other than that, like I mentioned, it's good.

The room was very clean, and icy cold upon arrival on a 39 degree day - big thumbs up here.There was a wedding going on in town so the halls were very loud at 2 am when everyone was coming back, it affected my sleep but it’s not their fault.The bed was a little hard, but I slept well enough.Having a shower with no tub was not the best, but the provided shower gel/shampoo/conditioner containers on the wall were a great idea vs waste associated with small bottles of each.The whirlpool was nice and we enjoyed the gym.Breakfast was good.Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating!

We ended up missing the first night of our reservation because of a winter storm. We eventually got in to town around noon and the staff let us check in early to our room. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the rest of our stay. 10/10 will stay here again!

We booked a few rooms at this hotel along with the banquet/meeting room for the weekend for a birthday party & baptism lunch. Everything was perfect! Can't say enough about the staff and service provided along with the excellent banquet room deal with hotel room rentals.

Really enjoyed this spacious, clean motel. Recently visited on Nov 26/22.Only complaint was the really hard rounded" pillows.Difficult to find a comfortable position with such odd pillows-but everything else was really great.If we ever stay here again
