Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam Service Department

This is a tough one to review. The service team is super, and really looked after us with courtesy and overflowing friendliness. 5 stars to them!But...on the flip side, Jim Pattison Subaru isn't a dealership that I/we will ever recommend! When my better half went there last October to buy out the vehicle at lease-end, we'd crunched the numbers and it made sense...then the dealership hit her with a $750 electrical systems inspection fee"! She challenged this because the dealership service team were the only obes who had ever touched the car through the 4 years. We later also learned it wasn't in the original lease contract but they wouldn't budge. Thought about asking a lawyer friend to get involved but decided the bad taste had stayed in our mouths long enough. Maybe good old Jimmy will donate some of his ill-gotten gains to some hospital to get his name on a building or something! What goes around...."

Rosh was really great at getting me my first Subaru. Super professional and easy to work with. Everyone at this dealership make the purchase super easy

Really like this place they do good work I don't go anywhere else for subaru...Edit: I am changing my review here as Google doesn't let me review again...had it 4 stars but have to top it up.Every single time we come here for service they knock it out of the park. Brian at service desk over delivers, we'll done everyone !

Usual check up for our Forester. Needed some work with the battery. Two young men at the desk were so knowledgeable and helpful. Sorry, I do not remember the name of the man who helped us with the side window button recalibration. They both were very patient and pleasant. Sherlock was the other one who explained the difference of winter and summer in the cars maintenance among other things. He was very articulate. In today's economy such well educated young persons in positions one do not expect them to see, pop up. It is pleasant for the service receivers like us of course but one does not know how it feels for the working person who might have preferred to work somewhere more closely fitting to their qualifications. This Subaru office seems to be at least employing these valuable young people. Recommend it as usual anyway.
