Oshawa Mosque مسجد

It is a proper masjid with a fairly big prayer hall to accommodate around 400 to 500 people. Compared to its capacity it has fewer parking spots and therefore parking can be a big problem for Juma prayers and during Ramadan.

It’s a great masjid with very understanding people. You can see the love of Islam in their actions, the environment is very neat and fresh and it’s in a very good position in Oshawa.

Very nice mosque in the Oshawa area. Very clean and organized. Thank you brothers for your efforts. Keep up the good work.

The management is the worst I have ever seen in prayers locations. Masjid is only for worship as it is described in Quran that masjids belong to Allah and not to be called for anyone or anything except Allah, but here the management makes fun of worshippers. Loudly talking, disturbing people’s prayers.استغر الله ربي من کل ذنب وأتوب اليه.

I LOVE this place. It’s so peaceful, even though it’s located in south Oshawa. The mosque is always neat and the people there are nice (at least they don’t discriminate). May Ya Allah bless the people in charge.One thing though, the mosque is always locked most of the times. I’d suggest that you keep the mosque open at a particular time (even all the time). People should feel comfortable to go in and have somewhere to stay (especially now that it’s really cold).Furthermore, there are so many activities in the mosque. There’s summer camp, which by the way was very amazing. There’s lectures, EID celebration and so on.I would highly recommend this Mosque to anyone looking for a mosque to go to.

Went as a family during Doors Open Oshawa and it was amazing! Best stop of the day by far!They had people who would give tours and answer question who were knowledgeable and upbeat! Having a little knowledge (but not too much) of the Muslim faith it was amazing to learn more about both the faith and the beautiful building (the promised snack table for the end of the tour (which wasn't necessary given our wonderful guide) having dates on it was a big bonus!I look forward to reading the copy of the Qur'an I picked up and learning more (knowledge is the best part of life --- always be learning!)

It's the one masjid here in Whitby/Oshawa that pushes for the youth and spreads love in our community. Even though I'm supposed to be going to closer masjid s, I still try to get to Oshawa masjid

Never take your kids to such a place that is supposed to present a religion and a culture. All people working in there are volunteers thats why they are lousy and fake. I believe all what they are targeting is donations that no one knows where it goes to. There are many other reputable active online courses to register your kids. I honestly wonder why our Canadian authorities don’t close down such a lousy place. Presenting Islam need to be lean and courteous. Adaptation of roughness and ignorance definitely does not show the right picture as it will simply unveil bunch of losers presenting a great religion like Islam.

A PLACE THAT THEY CALL ALLAH'S HOME WITH AN ACCURSED MOON UPON IT IS NOT AT ALL ALLAHS HOME.WUTHDU AREA STINKS SOMETIMES.INDIAN MEN LIKE TO BOSS YOU AROUND AND TELL YOU WHERE TO PRAY.THEY WILL PERSECUTE YOU AND TAKE OUT THEIR ANGER UPON YOU IF THEIR IS A DISPUTE. LEAVE THEM IN THEIR CONFUSION.
