Beautiful restaurant.Lebanese cuisine with a twist.The cheese rolls with truffle were exceptional and food was very tasty.The 1/5 missing is for the dessert. It lacked flavor and consistency.Recommended

Absolutely love this place, hands down my favorite restaurant in Toronto and I have my fair share of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food experiences, this rates as one of the best. Their food is fabulous especially their platters of two and four which comes with this tiny green chili which shake anyone with its fire but goes so well with the beef/chicken kebabs. Had their basil hummus for the first time on my fourth visit and that was a great find. Moreover, their date cake is out of the world, I cannot express how important it is for everyone to try it! Their drinks have always been top notch as well. The ambiance is very classy and beautiful. Parking can sometimes be difficult as it’s in Yorkville but we’ve been able to get underground parking just below the restaurant several times. Lastly their service is excellent but in the past couple of times, there’s less attention and absolute rush from all servers, which I’m sure they can improve on. Thanks for the great experiences!

I would definitely like to come here again to try more things on the menu. This was my first time trying Lebanese cuisine and it did not disappoint. The truffle rakakat was my favourite. The restaurant itself was stunning. I really loved the decor. Our server was very attentive and fun!

Amal was a good experience. The ambiance is really nice. My friends and I shared the shakshuka which was so delicious. I had the hot hummus with beef and that was also delicious. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. I would definitely recommend if you're into Lebanese food or looking to try something different

Loved the feel of this place! Atmosphere is so elegant yet casual. They have beautiful interior and patio.The food was absolutely incredible. The hummus appetizer with beef was almost a meal in itself! The kebabs with pestachios were amazing.We got the dinner for 2 which was a great value. It seems like a small amount but paired with an appetizer it was so filling! Sauces were delicious.As the night gets later the place gets busier with a night feel and a DJ.Service is magnificent.Wheelchair accessible as there is elevator access.A reservation recommend to dine here.Washrooms were nice.

However, the other hostess exhibited a level of rudeness that was quite disappointingWe opted to sit at the bar, where we had the pleasure of being served by Corey. Let me tell you, Corey is an extraordinary individual who truly knows how to make guests feel special. His larger than life personality and exceptional hospitality skills created a truly remarkable dining experience. Corey's confidence and attentiveness made us feel valued and well taken care of throughout the evening. His dedication to providing top-notch service was so impressive that I initially mistook him for the owner of the restaurant.Assistant General Manager, Mr. Samir, heard about the incident with the other hostess and quickly took care of the situation. He personally addressed the issue and went above and beyond to ensure that we were not only satisfied but also treated to a complimentary dessert. Mr. Samir's swift action and commitment to resolving the matter showcased the restaurant's dedication to excellent customer service.Overall, my visit to Amal was elevated by Corey's exceptional service and Mr. Samir's attentiveness.
