Signature Home Heat

During a routine yearly maintenance check in March this year our 21 year oil tank was red tagged so we were forced to move quickly to find a replacement furnace. After extensive research, we made the decision to go with Signature Home Heating &Air. Jeff Guilmette the General Manager spent many hours explaining our options and coming up with a very reasonable price to replace the furnace and water tank. The installation crew were beyond amazing. They put in an 8 hour day non-stop to make sure we had heat that evening and went above and beyond fixing our existing HVAC. We have already recommended Signature to our friends and would not hesitate being a reference for Jeff and his team.The Freemans

Excellent and thorough annual maintenance done by service technician (Tyler). Complete Covid protocols in place. This is the second year this technician has been at the house and always very courteous and friendly to the family as well as very efficient in his work and ensures everything is done correctly without undue extra costs . Was very impressed with the installation of my new furnace and air conditioning unit. The technicians were very knowledgeable, polite and efficient.

Signature responded to an emergency breakdown of our old furnace that occurred in mid winter, installing a new high efficiency unit within a day after reviewing our needs and making an appropriate recommendation. The installation, followup, and annual servicing has been exceptional and the staff involved very friendly. We are more than pleased with the unit that was installed.

Save yourself the aggravation and hire a local company for your maintenance plan and cleaning .Long story short after 5 years of $200+ annually for a maintenance plan when push came to shove and I had an issue with my furnace I called them Saturday morning at 10am finally someone picked up at 12pm . I’m assuming I was put into a que and the lady told me someone would contact me in about two hours . I finally got a call back from them Monday morning, needless to say by that time I had already spoken with another company to come fix my furnace cause it was -40 and I’m guessing they figured I’d be ok .

options for air conditioning in an older home with no ductwork are limited. After some research we decided to get quotes from several companies and we were particularly interested in the Mitsubishi brand due to their high ratings and for being super quiet.Right away Signature set themselves apart. Marcel came to take a look at our place, he answered all our questions and reviewed several options for proper placement to get the most out of our airconditioner, especially as we share a driveway we wanted to avoid any possible issues with the unit being in the way. My husband was convinced that we would need the bigger model but he reassured us with proper placement and for the size of the house we would be more than happy, saving us $$$$. (A rare find these days). The installation team showed up on time, were super professional, took the time to consult with me to make sure the piping and unit blended in and matched the exterior of the house and cleaned everything up inside and out after they were finished. Andy reviewed the operating system with me so we had air the moment they were done. We have been extremely pleased with the air conditioner but even more please with the excellent service we received.In fact recently, we had an issue with our boiler and were quoted $700 to replace a gas valve and perhaps even need to purchase a new boiler at +$10K!! I called Signature not 100% sure they managed boilers. THEY DO (hard to find these days). Andy was at our place by 5:30 THAT day, did his assessment and all we require is a pin replacement!! Again saving us HUGE $$$$. Signature is now our GO TO company for all our heating and cooling needs. We are also looking at getting a gas insert. If you want a reliable, professional, knowledgeable and HONEST company Signature is it!

I have been a customer for many years and have always received excellent service!

I have been waiting for a service call for nearly 3 weeks for my nonfunctioning furnace. Called three times and have been kept hanging with empty promises that their service department will call. It is getting cold and this is completely unreasonable. I will be changing companies. Giving them even one star for a review is generous (Google made me hit it)

Always have been happy with their service and so disappointed to learn today that they no longer seem to have Ottawa location. Strange, since their latest service renewal dated Sept 1 made no mention of any changes even though a person at former Signature location believes they packed up and left Aug 31. Found call centre service out of Montreal not terribly re-assuring. Hope their local techs were able to find suitable employment. Looks like will need to find reliable replacement.
