Maple High School

It’s a pretty cool looking school , I went there for a talent show for black kids. Nice aesthetics and definitely enough room to house a lot of students. It’s in a nice location because it’s right beside wonderland and then inside a residential area.

I was a student here at Maple high school, a few years ago. There's a wide variety of educational courses and the selections are impeccable. But teachers don't know how to teach and are not focused on their students well being as much as they should be. Many students can say they were poorly affected and this pulled me back. too But most of the teachers are fairly unique ,fun and focus on critical thinking and teach highly effective problem solving methods. I additionally would not recommend even bothering to come to this school

Worst school! The teachers are keep changing specifically math teacher went from school and they brought a supply teacher who didn’t know teaching math and then they changed the teacher againMy daughter learned nothing this year

TERRIBLE SCHOOL. principal and vice principal there will suspend you or expel you off of what someone said and no proof. never send your child there unless you want them to be depressed for 4 years. ms. moon doesn't let anyone live there life and is always negative. NEVER GO TO THAT SCHOOL

For the most part, Maple High School seems to be an excellent school. Most of the teachers I have thus far had there teach in unique, fun, and effective ways, focus on critical thinking, and teach highly effective problem solving methods. I additionally appreciate that room one -two is open at lunch time, as it is usually more pleasant to eat there than in the cafeteria. However, this school is not without its flaws. First of all, it would be helpful if there were more clocks in the halls. I know the school has the money to do this, seeing as they seemed to have sufficient funds to purchase televisions. Also, the physical education course should not be made compulsory in the ninth grade, and the civics and career studies courses should be replaced with a full-semester civics course, seeing as civics was vastly more interesting and useful than career studies. I also recall being forced into useless learning strategies courses in the ninth and tenth grades, which took away from my freedom to choose other courses of my desire. The technology department in the school needs to be improved. As of now, there are too few technology courses provided. It would also make me very pleased if the school brought back the film course. Finally, I think all departments should adopt the mark drop policy that the science department formerly exhibited. All in all, I am glad that I get to go to this school.

This Community driven Public Secondary School offers great course selection & motivated teachers. Under the leadership of Principal who is in touch with diversity and youth issues including mental wellness through difficult changing times; your children are given every opportunity to succeed here. The school building is well maintained & stocked with supplies/material, outside is lovely with track & field facility. Close to transit and nearby Amusement Park. Also offers SHSM program - specialist high skills major.

Just graduated from the school most of the teachers are nice, although they could work on getting some better math teachers, specifically Mr Foroughi, I had him twice for math in the same semester and both times the class averages were 50... also one teacher in specific could benefit from fixing his stuck up attitude. Other then that the teachers are great. :D

this is so bad, do not come to this school. don’t bring your children here. teachers don’t know how to teach, they always mad at kids. highly not recommended, stay away.

I'm a teacher, not a student. I'm not really giving a review. I just wanted students to know we're glad to hear from you and would love to hear from many, many more of you. Forty-four reviews (at this site) over a 5 year period is just not enough to get an accurate idea of how students feel. For that we would need to hear from at least three or four hundred of you each year. So chime in. :-) And of course, we just went through almost three years of covid stuff, often learning and teaching under very difficult circumstances - so keep that in mind.
