KD Transmission

Took my sons car in and got it back worse than they received it. Mechanic forced clutch into first in order to even drive home. We will have someone else replace clutch assembly for sure!

I needed a transmission fixed, contacted the shop and was immediately told to bring the vehicle to the shop. I was informed of the issues and next steps throughout the repair. The quote was accurate and the repair was completed without any problems. I have been driving the car for a month since the replacement transmission, runs Like a charm. Thank you Mr Golka! Great experience. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and they were able to get me in very quickly. They have a service which drives you home and picks you up when they are done. KD transmission was referred to me by a friend and I am glad they did. I always enjoy local businesses who support the community. Besides transmissions they also offer engine light diagnosis, brakes, clutches, driveshaft, and general mechanic services.

Took my vehicle in for transmission service/fluid replacement, they noticed my check engine light ran the codes and informed me of a failing o2 sensor. and also found a fluid leak.They fixed everything for me at a relatively good price and even gave me an oil change.Great service, would definitely return.

Called about my truck on short notice just for a quote, dropped it off short notice on a Thursday and explained I needed it back before Monday, John said it would not be an issue and that they would work through their regular day off to complete a full transmission rebuild. It was done in excellent time for the price quoted, they even through in a t shirt when I paid the bill. Great guys to deal with. I would recommend KD transmission to everyone.

They did a good job rebuilding the transmission. of my Ford F-150 truck. One year until now , no issues so far after 20km.

Awesome shop to deal with. Very honest and always handle my vehicles with care. Definitely recommend! They rebuilt my transmission in my 1962 Mercury and it works fantastic!! Also have done quite a bit of other things to my cars. Great with classic cars and modern vehicles too.

So, I called and was told to bring in a week and a half later. Showed up at 7am and dropped off. Called around 11am to see how things were, was told it was not looked at yet as they were busy and was asked if it was ok for one of them to drive home on lunch, reply was no problem. Work day ended and they never did reach out, had to get ride from work to get spouses vehicle and drive to get kid from school in Tweed, back to Belleville and then to get van at KD. Went in and was told that they were short 2 guys short that day.I totally understand their employee situation and lack of labor but there is no excuses for not making a 2 minute phone call and letting someone know their situation and status on vehicle. Now at Belleville Transmission.

KD did a clutch replacement (with all the added goodies, pressure plate release bearing bla bla) Had my car back to me within about 7 business days. The work they did was great, everything works better than ever. The technician who worked on my vehicle even chased me down to chat about a issue he found. My only gripe was I always ask shops to contact me before work is actually done to my vehicle and I was never contacted. They also gave me the most competitive quote by far in Belleville!
