The physical space itself has a lot of potential. Its floor plan is smart, open, airy, bright and has a great bar area.We ordered the Hand Roll, Gyoza and Poke with a loose leaf green tea.The Gyoza I'd order again. The Hand Roll was tasty but could pass on and the Poke was not up to par for me....and that's probably because I'm comparing it to the best Poke place currently in Vancouver.I might pop in again if I'm in the area next time get their Gyoza again with a nice chilled crisp Sauvignon Blanc....a quick bite.The corner location and sheer size of the restaurant is impressive, and here's to hoping they keep getting better and better. :)

Had a great experience here! All the servers were super friendly and attentive. I got the ramen flight so I could try a bit of everything, and it was all really good. The soups were flavourful and the noodles were firm.The portions looked pretty small in pictures, so I was worried that it wouldn’t be enough - but I was very full by the end. If you have a bigger appetite however, you may need to get a side dish.I also ordered some tea, and I got a whole pot rather than just a cup which was nice. However, the cup’s handle was very awkward to grip. It’s safer to let the tea cool a little so you can grab the cup rather than try and use the handle.

Great spot for ramen and other Japanese items. Their combo set is a good amount of food. Their ramen flights allow you to try a variety of different soups which is nice.Modern interior with lots of seating and also appears to have a patio too.Overall a good spot for solid ramen at the $20-30/person range.

Ramen flight is super interesting. Love that i can try it all in one order. The cups were not easy to eat out of though with big ramen spoons. The seafood salad was fresh and the greens and salad dressings were yum. Happy hour all day Tuesdays!

Fancy ramen place that has some special menu items like bone marrow ramen. The staff and service were impeccable.Fried chicken ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: pretty well fried served with a ponzu sauce. The chicken could be a bit more juicy in my opinionFried brussel sprouts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: tempura fried brussel sprouts topped with truffle oil. Really well fried and the truffle oil really brings it together.Ramen flight ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: comes with shoyu, chicken, tonkotsu, and dry ramen. The noodles were really well cooked with a good bite. The shoyu was overall my favorite. The chicken and tonkotsu were both rich and creamy. I feel like there was a bit too much spicy paste for how much broth you get. The dry ramen does clump together a bit so you have to mix it a bit.Tiramisu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: decently made tiramisu. The chocolate sauce was solidified so wouldn't pour out.Peach cream puff ⭐️⭐️⭐️: forgot the name it officially is on the menu but it tasted like fruit loops to me which was odd.Bone marrow ramen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: I only tried the noodles and broth and the broth was really rich. My friend told me that meat was overcooked and super chewy but other than that a good ramen .

Really enjoyed the 3 course meal with a drink lunch offer, it was the best bang for buck. The ramen was really good, smooth, not too rich and good flavour. But the dish that stood out the most was the edamame. It’s served with chopped chillies and hickory sticks on the side, but the edamame is glazed with a secret amazing sauce that’s a touch sweet and savoury.

I heard great reviews so I was brought here by friends. I gotta say this place is highly over rated. Food is nothing special and actually kind of bland.Extra star because our waitress was very nice and attentive. But food took longer than expected.The curry chicken was not great, it was ok chicken was good but you only get two little nuggets and a lot of rice.You might as well buy an entire bag of rice, you'll get more out of it as they mainly serve you rice with slight flavoring.I will not return nor recommend. If you're looking for a good place there's a great view place across the street close to a great bubble tea places that has fresh and delicious items at low prices. (For both the bubble tea and the vietnamese place). For what I paid i expected more flavor or more portions.

Food was 5 stars, fresh and delicious. I would say they still have some kinks to work out, we waited significantly for the ramen after finishing the sushi. Friendly service. Presentation is top notch but if sitting at a table for two there is very little room. The atmosphere with the layout is a bit bizarre with the restaurant in sections, it was loud and some bench seating had cushions and others did not. These are minor concerns however and will be back in particular for the sushi. Reasonable prices.$$

Really enjoyed our first visit to the downtown location! We had the ramen flight, one for each of us, and it was so perfect. We were able to try the different bowls and settled in our favourite: the mazesoba. We ended up getting a full bowl to share after our appies and flights. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. I wish the benches had cushioning where we were seated, it was a bit hard against my back for a two hour dine in experience. Overall fantastic, will recommend to friends and family, and will come back!
