Chinook Pet Clinic

My cat is a regular patient, and he is treated wonderfully and with care.

I dont know if was personal issue that the vet tech had towards me that led to the complete mistreatmemt of my cat Fionna, but the experience not only traumatized her, but myself too, who had put my pet in that awful situation to begin with. To top it all off, the medication that was prescribed for Fionna for life, was deemed unecesarry by a more professional clinic.

We just moved here from Calgary and have one docile cat and one difficult cat who becomes a little feral when we take her to the vet. The vet and tech here were amazing with her. They properly and gently restrained her for her shots and check up and were pretty outstanding in her treatment, where Calgary vets have denied treatment and caused injury. It is wonderful to know that such skilled people will look after my beautiful, angry girl!

I brought my family pet in for stomach issues. Dr Pilar seemed more concerned about his making sure he was up-to-date with all of his shots. It is now 2 weeks later and I now putting down a my dog. I am sure glad he is fully up-to-date with his vaccinations. I must say Dr. Bergen was phenomenal with her follow ups but because of Dr. Pilar I will not be back.

Outstanding care, compassion and detailed attention to any issue or concern about our critters. Our pet care team is an extension of our family and we appreciate them very much.

Never bringing my animals to this clinic again. I brought my dog in there for a lump that was grown, then the vet said she was more concerned about some stomach issues he was presenting with. Convinced us to get blood work done, check up, food, and meds...$595! Later! then telling us that he needs to come back for check up three days later and that it would only be $64 for that visit. $134 dollars later, he still needs meds (even though he's acting and looking way better). Now she is saying she is really concerned about the lump and that we need to do a cell sample and that will be $300, plus she's worried about many other things and that we shouldn't sit on it. Guilted us saying that he's shaved 2 yrs off his life, even though he's 13 yrs old. And she wants to see him again in 2 weeks. Why was she not worried about the lump when we first brought him in....never going back. Don't recommend!

My partner and I have been using Chinook Pet Clinic for the past 7 years or so, and we've never looked back! Both Dr. Bergen and Dr. Kendra are fantastic veterinarians. I've always trusted them to diagnose my pets ailments properly. Along with great veterinarians, the support staff at Chinook Pet couldn't be better. Cary Anne comes to mind as one of our favourites. I wish I knew the names of the rest of the staff - you're all wonderful.Prices are fair and reasonable. Both veterinarians are quick to refer elsewhere for more complicated procedures, etc.

I have been bringing my cat here for a few years now, and they are awesome. The front end team is so kind and understanding, and the veterinarian's are so kind and gentle with my fur baby even though she hates the vet. The prices here are also the best in Lethbridge that I've seen.

I could not say enough about this team. Our Snoopy was a client here since he was a puppy. We had since moved out of town a number of years ago and had not visited the clinic in a few years. When it was time to say the awful Goodbye to our labrador, we naturally wanted to have this moment with Chinook and could not have picked a more perfect place and team to share that experience with.They have a farewell" room that is private
