This is an excellent depot for returning your recyclables. Count your materials beforehand to get the most out of your return. Less counting, more money !!!!

Ripped off my 75 year old father , he had 400 bottles the first count they gave him 8 dollars he said it was wrong the second count they gave him 18 dollars still wrong, he got mad said they were ripping him off and left. How are they still in business should have their business license taken away , shame on them for ripping people off they make enough money as it is, they have a license to steal. By the way they got one star because I had to give it.

Dishonest. I always take in four bags. If in a rush and no time to count bottles per bag, their count is less than 50% of my count for four bags. I switched to Portland Street hoping they can count better.

Been ripped off here twice, first time I thought I was mistaken but I took 100 bottles to another place and got 5 bucks and some change because of the glass. Took the same amount, told them what was in it and how much and I think i got 2 toonies and some change. Something doesn't add up. Won't be returning

This business would receive zero stars if possible. Upon returning recyclables, my husband was verbally berated and cursed at by an employee repeatedly - the employee was going out of his way to accost him. While there, he also witnessed the same employee mixing together the refundables of different people and ignoring anyone who tried to correct him. Very unpleasant experience with a severe lack of not just customer service but general human decency.

Don’t waste your time here. Total rip-off.. Online states they buy metal. I said I would like to sell my metal, takes in says it’s not worth their time they don’t even buy metal. Then why did you take it in the building? I said I’ll take it back, he throws it in my brand new truck like it’s nothing. I said why are you doing that. He say I’m not throwing them. He was just mad cause I didn’t leave it there for him to get whatever it’s worth. Loser.

My husband just came back from this place... should have received back 16.55 but only got back 5.75. This place is a total rip off... this isn't the first time either. Don't waste ur return at this place.

So far, it's been a good experience. They even give me recycling tips. I saw some moments below saying they were getting ripped off. $2.30 for 46 bottles, for example. Just a reminder, the exchange is typically 5 cents per bottle. I haven't been ripped off yet.

Didn't know what to think about the reviews about people getting ripped off, but they were absolutely right. I went in with 46 bottles and walked out with $2.30, half of what I should of received. I even heard them call out how many bottles I had, and they didn't miss count. Anyway, if you're in it for the money, this is not the place to go.
