Iqra Islamic School

My family recently moved from Sweden to Winnipeg. We were worried about our children’s Islamic education. My older son and daughters knew nothing about Islam before joining this school. I cannot believe that I did not send them to an Islamic School in Sweden.After my children started going to Iqra, within 4 months they learned how to pray, they memorized many surahs, they learned about Islamic History. It is very important for my kids to understand Islam, not just robotically follow Islam without knowledge.The academics are also fantastic, learning through the Canadian curriculum. Teachers are very friendly, and the office is always ready to help.I feel safe for my children’s future after Iqra announced the high school program. Iqra is the best place for my daughter. Management is very accommodating and is always helping my child grow to become a better Muslim. My daughter used to know very little about Islam, but now she memorized many surah and islamic knowledge alongside math, science, art, social studies, and more.Alhamdulillah.

Iqra is the best Islamic school in Manitoba. My 2 kids are happy studying with Muslim kids and have made many friends. Teachers are excellent, very professional. Environment is great, classrooms are good sizes.

My two daughters go to this school. They really like the teachers. I really love the environment and atmosphere of the school. It is nice to see that my daughters are in a safe and protected environment with all Muslim kids. The teachers are great, the classrooms are clean, and they have lots of technology.

My daughter in Grade 2 is really happy to learn Quran. She really enjoys coming to school and likes her teachers. She started wearing hijab and loves it. Im very proud that she knows how to pray. I really like how the school is clean. I'm a new Muslim and I really appreciate the environment that has been made for my daughter.

Alhamdulillah my grand children, just joined the school. My children used to go to this school and benefitted, I need my grandchildren to also benefit. This school teaches good akhlaaq and manners. I was part of this school when it first began, and the difference between then and now is like a dream. The classrooms are very big and clean, the management welcomes everyone and is very inclusive, and they care about the parents' needs.

My wife and I were very concerned about our children's islamic education. Alhamdulillah, we found a fantastic school where our kids will, inshallah, grow up to be good muslims. Management is very helpful and accommodating. Lots of activities keep our children happy and motivated throughout the year.

This school is a big lie. That principle who calls himself a sheik does not know anything about our beautiful Islam. He is very disrespectful to women. He talked me and my husband to bringing our children to this school and he said seventeen bad things in one sit. He kept ignoring me and focusing on my husband and when I asked him to answer my question he asked a lady to take me in a tour to shut me up. I really advise you to stay away as me and my husband did after that day.

My kids attend this school and there are many things that I like about it. My family is very happy to have this school in Winnipeg. The office team is very friendly and supportive. The classrooms and washrooms are very clean and organized. I really like that my kids can study the Manitoba curriculum and Islamic studies/quran at the same time. I will keep my kids here until they graduate inshallah. I'm very happy.

Best school my daughter has gone to. Lots of programs, good teachers, and trains my child to have good akhlaq and kind to parents. Management is also very helpful. Owner is very kind. As a parent I am very happy.
