Woodlands Library

Small library with some individual seating around for study, has a kids reading area and great natural lighting along glass walls.

Library and everything is good. It may be smaller than other branches, but there are a lot of places to peacefully and quietly study. Holds come fairly quickly. There’s a devoted kids “zone” but I feel it’s too small and unprotected, but it’s better than nothing. Restrooms are amazingly clean and the library smells good. There are 6 computers - there’s almost always at least 2 available. You can also print and scan stuff here. This library is rarely crowded except at 11-12 pm on Mondays-Fridays from the high schoolers. There a lot to read but if you’re looking for a more vast selection of books this isn’t for you.What hindered this review are the staff. If I had to describe them using 1 word, I’ll say “boring”. Note this NOT represent all of them. Some are very helpful and nice. On the other hand, the other staff may help you with whatever you want, but they don’t feel happy or enthusiastic whatsoever, and they often have a tendency to be more upset with students for little reason. In one instance I forgot to book the study room and one of them essentially yelled at me to get out immediately. If they were more happy, inviting, and cooperative with visitors, it would be so much better. Note this is based on my 500+ experiences to this library, it may not be true for everyone else!

My family has been coming here for 2 years since we moved to the area. We have always encountered helpful staff. Great children's programs offered, especially during March Break and Summer Break. My daughter loves Tuesday evenings pyjama storytime with Hana. Great selection of children's books and movies. Small but plentiful library.

Very friendly staff and excellent selection of books. I usually find more artistic books in this library more easily than in other Mississauga Library locations. The place feels quiet, which I like, because it allows me to get lost among books. The staff is very knowledgable and willing to recommend good titles.

It’s a very good library with many interesting books and the graphic novels are the best, especially the Geronimo Stilton series, but there are books for kids and adults as well.The staff who work at the library are very welcoming.

One of the well maintained libraries in Mississauga.Front desk receptionist Fiona is so kind in nature and very helpful.Very professional as well. It’s very rare to see people like her nowadays in customer care service.

Sufficient parking, helpful staff, decent selection of kids books. Not a huge collection of books, but you can have holds from any library in the Mississauga system delivered here. Seemed pretty much back to normal.

Very organized and you will find everything you’re looking for . My favourite one.
