A few weeks ago I had to pull off the side of the road because of a loud rumbling sound from my car. The closest parking lot to pull over and check it out was Firestation 10's. I got out and soon realized that my tire was blown. Before I could even call in to work to tell them I would be late three guys from Platoon B were out and offering to help and I'm so glad they did! Turns out I must have left the jack out of the car with the seasonal tire change over in the fall and would have been stranded if I had landed anywhere else. They had the dummy-tire on and the problem diagnosed in what felt less than five minutes. What could have been a really terrible day was turned around by their kindness and I was only 10-15 minutes late for my day. Thank you!
