River Rock Casino Resort

Check in was a little slow, parking is far so I’d drop off one person at the front with your belongings first. The room was clean. Bed was hard but I surprisingly had a great nights sleep even though our room was in front of the trains. Breakfast at the curve was supposed to be a 30 min wait but it was done by 9 mins. They looked a little short staff but service was great. The hotel/casino area was smoke free which I loved. There weren’t any tables that were low in price as it was 25-50 but the machines were nice to sit at and play baccarat and roulette at your own pace. Richmond night market is literally next door so this would be the perfect place to stay at if you plan on going there. Plenty of parking and 5 minutes away

Great service and hospitality. The staff on my floor (8) were amazing during my stay. I was here for a conference, and staff directed me with confidence and ensured I got to my conference room. Rooms are great and comfortable. I did not hear any other guests, so the rooms may be insulated adequately. The shower was interesting to figure out, the tap has two levers and thr smaller of the two dictates temperature and if your taking a shower, you will need to put the faucet neck (where the water comes out) to make the shower work. All in all, it was a great stay.

Really nice hotel. They have pretty much everything. Food is a bit overpriced but really good. Drinks are way more than I expected for a Casino. Service was good. Rooms are really nice and muffle the sound of airplanes landing and taking off right over top of the hotel. Pool is awesome but a bit of a walk and in the other building across the road. Parking is over a block away.

Terrible hotel, don’t bother unless you are there just for the casino. Not in a good neighborhood, didn’t feel safe to walk around outside the hotel. Didn’t get the room (view) I booked, room I did get was tired and worn. You can’t call the front desk from the room, coffee machine but no coffee in the room, neither of the TVs in the room worked and only lame excuses for why they didn’t. Bed was comfortable, staff was poorly trained and lacked knowledge of the hotel. I did receive a discount on check-out but would never stay there again.

We stayed one night at the hotel as we were departing on a long haul international flight from Vancouver.The resort is in a good location, located at skytrain stop ‘Bridgeport’ between the airport and downtown. We purchased Skytrain day passes for $11 each which enabled us to get downtown, back to the hotel to collect our bags, and to the airport for our flight.There’s a Starbucks located inside the hotel. There’s also a fantastic little cafe/ bar/ restaurant called The Story Cafe about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. I would highly recommend heading here for meals.The hotel is right under the flight path, so be prepared to hear planes frequently passing over (although it is impressive to watch).The hotel itself is fine. While the decor was looking a little dated, the room was clean.

Over priced, under serviced. Don't waste your time. I was booked in this hotel by a company that thought they were doing me a favour, happy it was for work, if it had of been a personal stay, I would have left. Two stays in two months and terrible service both times. I will never return. Customer service is absent, and they are disinterested in resolving concerns in a meaningful way. If you are in the south" tower... you're going to have a train rumble past your room regularly and flights overhead. There are better options nearby. During my second stay

I came to check out the buffet! I love the location, atmosphere, parking was easy, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic! Seating by the window was delightful, we saw the blue herons and the planes flying over and a nice view of the bridge.Thank you for your hospitality! Custodial staff were excellent. Fresh everything each morning. Hotel was clean and comfortable. I was a bit upset with the food selection and hours of service however. Restaurants in the casino seem to close early. Had to settle for convenience store selections one evening. Not a deal breaker, just need to plan meals a bit in advance.

Spent 3 nights in this hotel. First night was a nightmare as there was a loud and sharp rattling noise coming from the AC when it was running. Wish I'd noticed it during daytime so that I could have it fixed, unfortunately did not notice. Had it fixed following day. Also, how come there's no clock in the room, as not everyone uses cell phone or watch to check time, especially at night? Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay.Just added the following:a) The use of shower is very tricky. Even though it is explained on the sheet on the desk, how many people would read it immediately after they check in? They should have clear instructions posted in the bathroom, or have receptionist explain to the guests when they check in.b) Why use cheap toilet papers which are see-through thin? It is a joke. You may save money by buying it, but if guests fold them 4 or 5 times, they may wind up using more papers and costing more. They've gotta go!

Above average customer service regardless of how much you are going to spend in the casino. The staff don't judge you on how you are dressed but instead, are extremely helpful with information and questions needing answers. This is a very well laid out casino with lots of attractive slot machines and tables. It even has a Starbucks just outside the interior entrance into the casino.
