I knew from my first visit that this was to be my Church family. I was looking for a church that put the Word of God as a high priority and preaching that reflected this. I was looking for a church that expressed godly love for each other. I was looking for a church where the preaching was theologically accurate. I found all this and more at Maranatha.

The environment that is upheld and the community from each and every member, staff, and attendee is lovely and uplifting. The sermons and preaching are excellent and you will always learn something/ take away something from your time spent there.I love this Church and I am proud to attend it / be a part of it.

Maranatha has consistently (for 25+ years), been a church family that is grounded in the Word of God, that preaches to the people, and that exposits (interprets) the Bible through preaching, singing, and a multitude of other ministries. If you are a faithful, Bible-believing Christian, and someone eagerly looking to find a home church that nourishes you and your family, wherever each member of your family is at spiritually, I give my highest recommendation to Maranatha Baptist Church in Abbotsford.

10/10. Best church in town. Amazing sermons grounded in theology with great people who attend. Pastor is very intentional with his congregation and his sermons. Never felt more at home! Highly recommended! If you don’t go you’re doing yourself an injustice.

A church in which I’m proud to be called part of their family. Along with the rock solid theology from the pulpit and many faithful members of the congregation, God is using this church mightily to accomplish His work and prepare His people for eternal glory. From weekly care groups to Sunday school & other activities; this church is used by God to lead people of all ages to His throne!
