Had a wonderful breakfast at Mary Mary Cafe. Was recommended by Wanda at the gas station. Cutest, coziest little place to escape the rain. Dad said it was “Best omelette I’ve ever had.” Got a little teary eating at the gray and white retro table, that was just like my Grandma’s. Definitely pop in for some great comfort food and friendly conversation. Kitschy, nostalgia perfection! Will definitely be back.

Very nostalgic, tables and chairs from the 50's, lots of stuff from the past to look at, very homey. Really enjoyed the fish and chips. Checked for our vaccine passports.

I love this place. Brunch until 3pm. Delicious omelettes and waffles, great coffee, laid-back atmosphere. And then, after a long hike, a homemade meal of stuffed cabbage, pirogues, and sausage for dinner. Yum. Especially fun chatting with the owners, who are truly lovely!

Hoppin and boppin, and the food's even better! Best food on texada. Waffles are delicious and the staff is really nice. Also have a great selection of books about the history of the local area

A couple months ago, my family and I visited the island and came across this cafe. Food was okay but the service was horrible. When we arrived, no one seated us at a table and the young waitress was very cold and passive aggressive when taking our order. Not to mention, our food came later than other customers who came after us. It wasn’t until after we paid our meal that the owners and the waitress rudely told us that we were supposed to stay at our table at all times due to COVID-19 when they did not communicate this request when we first arrived because we aren’t from this area. In addition, my family and I willingly kept our masks on even if we were seated outside but I did not see at least 1 mask on the owners and waitress. I love supporting small businesses but this is one I’ll never come back to again.
