We tried Za pizzeria at work and now we order it at home too. I tried taking a picture before the savages got into the pizza box but I lost. Their dough is great. Sauce amazing and lots of fresh quality toppings. It is really delicious with exceptional service!!!

Love the slow fermented dough and house made sauces, dough is lighter than most pizzas so I don't feel bloated after eating a few slices & their hot honey drizzle is a must try

I came here with a friend expecting very little when it comes to pizza. I grew up in brooklyn NY and coming to Calgary I find the pizza in most places to be highly disappointing. Going to most pizzerias I keep my expectations low, and my elitism narrow (most people often say NY’ers are elitists when it comes to the slice). However, I was pleasantly surprised to try their NY thin slice pizza, and it coming very damn near close to an authentic brooklyn slice. And on god, so far the best za in the city. Truly impressed with “Moe’s” superb culinary skills in honestly trying to make me and my family happy.The proportion and ratio of sauce to cheese to crust, perfect. The PROPER level of crunch in the crust no more than 4-6mm, superb. And the right amount of cheese pull with each bite, oh lord. Also Moe’s in-house made hot honey is surely not a disappointment, even beating mike hot honey (those who know will understand).He didn’t even know I was writing this review nor was it a bribe. I genuinely don’t leave reviews unless I truly believe in the business’ standards, and have a good experience.Seriously, I wish I could leave a better word. But honestly, I loved every bite of my meal here. I even love the perfectly pure and simplistic cheese ‘za.Highly recommended.-A person who misses home-Update: as true NY fashion, yes… it’s good even when it’s cold

My girlfriend and I were just driving by and we saw it as we driving to the store. We decided to pop in and try local pizza. We are very happy with the food that we got, which was the Pesto Chicken pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza. We wanted to try the mozza sticks, but they were out. Although we will be back to try them since it was such a good experience. The owner was very generous and grateful. For a place that has only been open for a week, we strongly approve and would recommend. Thanks for dinner guys

I was in the area on a Sunday night and finally had the chance to try out ‘Za! The reviews were right. They made their pizzas differently and they used only the quality ingredients in their pie. We got the ‘Za Deluxe as I love variety of toppings on my pie like pepperoni, onions, peppers and sausages. I really like crust. It’s thin, crispy yet it has a load of toppings and cheese. The dough was chewy and airy, which I happily dipped to their flavourful garlic sauce. They also have pizza slice if you just want to grab some quick bites on-the-go. I got to try their chicken wings too (Hot). With just the right amount of spicy kick, it really is the perfect appetizer to compliment the pizza. The owner was awesome and knows what he’s doing. You know he really loves his pizza when he makes all of his pie with intention and passion. He mentioned that they will explore in the future and make a NY style pizza too, which I am excited about! If you happen to be in the area of Chinook, Heritage or Macleod, go and try this one out! Their prices were surprisingly on the lower side, considering they put a lot of effort and quality on their food. One of the top tier pizza in the city!

We had the pleasure of trying them out today.This cute pizza place is run by the owner Jodh who is very cordial & polite.They have a variety of halal options and sone in house sauces to try on. The prices of the pizzas, appetizers and sides were super affordable given the quality & taste.We tried the Za Donair pizza which is their speciality. The pizza had cheese, donair halal meat, banana peppers, cooked tomatoes, donair sauce, onions and halal drizzle. The pizza was so flavourful and very scrumptious. Definitely a must try.The next we had was Za chicken wings halal, again one of their best selling appetizer. Bone in Chicken wings with honey garlic, hot honey, hot BBQ, sweet chilli, Thai, Indian style and lemon pepper sauce. Juicy and tender chicken with the perfect flavors.Overall, it’s the best place to satisfy your pizza cravings.Definitely recommend to try.

Za Pizzeria YYC is what the Calgary pizza scene has been missing. We ordered their pesto chicken pizza with balsamic drizzle and honey garlic wings—both items were absolutely delicious! The owner also gave us some complimentary hot honey to try and it was unreal—we will definitely be adding it on for our future orders! 10/10 taste and service. We can't wait to come back!

Love their pizzas!!! Donair was our fav. Family owned restaurant. Also the boneless chicken is worth ordering too!!
