Monte Carlo Inn - Brampton Suites

Hotel and room was very clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff were excellent .. efficient, friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good as well with tosst, eggs, cereal, fruit etc. Only comment was thst the TV channels were not super clear. I would definately stay again.

I would not recommend this Monte Carlo Inn for more than 2 nights or anytime in the Fall/Winter seasons. My fiancee (now wife) stayed there for the night to prep for our big day and the lighting was non-existent. I had to pick up a work lamp from the nearby Home Depot so that she could have some lighting. If you want a hotel with ceiling lights and ample lamp lighting, do not come to this hotel.Service was mid. Can't say much about this because we did not ask for anything. Nothing special, so I'm sure the service is probably fine.Location is probably the best attribute of this hotel because it's on Queen Street. There are several decent restaurants in the area and it's located behind a Wal-Mart Supercentre, should you require any groceries.

The price was very reasonable in my opinion anyway. Friendly and courteous service, rooms were very clean❤ and comfortable. The only oversight was that there was no soap in the bathroom but all other amenities were there. Good job though Monte carlo on everything else. I enjoyed my stay.

I would have gladly given 5 stars if it wasn't for the smell. I don't mean 5 stars compared to a $500 a night downtown Toronto hotel. This is a working person's/low budget family holiday type hotel and I rate them in a class of their own. The service was good, the complimentary breakfast was better than I have had in many other places. Fresh fruit, cereal, bread, bagels hard boiled eggs, yogurt and decent coffee. You could upgrade to meat for $6 but I didn't feel that was necessary for me.The parking lot was full of snow and slush but this is Canada and we Canadians understand the logistics issues involved with snow removal. If you are not from around here I suggest that you get used to it.But the smell. The washroom was simply not cleaned properly. I have a background in janitorial. They just didn't get down and disinfect around the toilet. I did and it was fine.I look forward to staying here again when I am back in a month or so after management has explained the importance of thorough cleaning to housekeeping.I rarely sit and stare out the window but I had to laugh when I noticed that the City View" meant looking and the hind end of the Walmart across the street.All in all a comfortable stay. I will be back but if there is a smell the next time I will invite the manager up for a visit."

Really enjoyed staying here for work. I'm about to stay for a second time in the coming week. Hotel is definitely older, but I honestly like the 90s vibe it has. Rooms are shockingly spacious, and my colleague and I were both upgraded to suites at no charge for all 4 nights we stayed. Checked for bed bugs, found none. Elevator needs to be replaced, as it's slow and creaky. That's a huge expense though, I get it. Free continental breakfast is pretty lousy, but you can upgrade to bacon and eggs for $8 which isn't too bad. Staff is honestly pretty great.Also, the traffic in the area around 5pm is AWFUL. Just getting in and out of the nearby plazas to get food and coming back to the hotel is a friggin nightmare. Not the hotel's fault, but it's definitely something to consider. FYI, I recommend using Coventry and going up to Chrysler Dr. instead of using Queen or Airport. Save yourself the headache.

Loved our stay here. We had a nice room with a jacuzzi (super clean) and a nice warm fireplace. The location is amazing and breakfast is included with the option to add on items for a small fee. Will definitely repeat. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Couldn't be happier honestly this is one of my new fav places for a weekend away with the hubbs.

Do not book this hotel. If you have issues here, they will bounce you around until the general manager tells you that they can't do anything until you book with them again, and they will consider an upgrade. Not only did they not change my room on the first night my family and I were there due to the AC not working, but they went further in lying to my travel agent telling them that we rejected a move. This place needs to be called out.My family and I were nothing but patient as they tried to deal with our issue, but the issue came to no resolution and the hotel flatly refused to accept do any concessions on the stay due their so-called no refund policy". So usually I stay in big names hotels. I tried this one and it wasn't pleasant at all, here it is:- All carpets are super dirty and very smelly beyond cleaning including the room.- something wrong with  mattress almost broken.- stains on sheets- wobbly desk- there was handprints on the wooden back of my bed which clearly means no one cleaned it.- breakfast is way below expectations.- very poor TV display quality, good channels though.- smelly fridgeThe good things are:- Location is very good- nice parking- friendly staffOverall they should lower the price or do extreme renovations. It's a great location but it needs a lot of work before receiving guests.

This was my first time to Canada and I was treated so poorly by the staff. They canceled my reservation because I hadn't checked in by 4, even though that's no clear on the expedia site when booking. The manager was rude and talked to me as if I was stupid. My mother is handicapped and the elevator was broken. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! Just awful experience!!

The rooms very small, smell smokey. Staff was very rude. Only breakfast staff was polite. But not much of breakfast choice.
