The Falls Golf Club & Patio19 BBQ House

The course was in great shape even considering how much rain we have had in recent weeks.I like The Falls. It challenges you to pick your shots vs gripping and ripping. The greens are tough to read but track true to the line. I really enjoyed watching my playing partner trying to figure out their greens (evil laugh). After many 3 putts he started listening to my advice.

If heaven and the game of golf had a love child...The Falls would be the result. Challenging both in skill and distance, the course repays your efforts with glorious views of both the surrounding mountains and the lush green valley below. Course can pose difficulties for new players but does offer some forgiveness with a range of tight par 3 holes sure to please both your eye and your game. If Iowa is where the field of dreams is, then The Falls is where the course of dreams resides.

Went last Friday night and WOW!!What a beautiful course. This was a step up in my golf game and i absolutely love this course and like how it plays thru the neighborhoods on the mountain.The views were great from many of the holes and it felt like being in my own little world playing here. I like the holes where you are up high on the elevated tee box and need to hit down into the fairway. The greens are very difficult and i definately have some work to do on my putting.I also stopped on the patio after for the mushroom mozza burger with onion rings and it was really good. One of the best course restaraunts ive tried.The value to golf here is great as well. This is now my new favorite course and i will definately bring my friends and customers out to experience this course.

Just had lunch at Patio 19! I've eaten here many times, the new menu is incredible! We had a BBQ share platter and everything was delicious! Danielle is such wonderful girl, she's been so personable since the first time I met her! I always feel like a regular when she's there! Living right down the street it sure is nice to have something so great 30 seconds away from home! I don't golf, but my home overlooks the course and it sure is beautifully kept!

The power cart kinda got stuck in a deep pothole right by the cart path, the one staff came by and was exceptionally proactive, professional and had common sense. The staff positive attitude under this situation made rest of my round very enjoyable. He got it out btw and did 98% of it and I helped out 2%.Compliments to the general manager on hiring a good, helpful, polite person. Thanks

In addition, to the amazing views the course was a unique and fun challenge. The Falls was in great shape considering it hasn't rained in 3 months, and the staff were friendly and helpful.It is one of my favorite courses and is truly a one of a kind playing experience.

We held our reception at the Falls Golf Club and absolutely loved it. We had people coming up to us saying it was the best reception they have ever been to. Karlene the event coordinator had my husband and I when she started quoting Lord of the Rings to us. She knew exactly what we meant when we said we wanted our wedding to tip its hat to LOTR. The decor, layout, friendly and diligent staff, delicious food, hilarious games, great dance floor... It was a night to remember! Thank you Falls Golf Club for taking care of our family and friends. We truly appreciate it.

Course is a nice layout, but greens had a lot of bare patches. This was out first visit. Course marshall were great. The clubhouse had very limited services (couldn't get a coffe or muffin before tee off and frozen breakfast sandwiches at the turn) and its location is a long long way from the 1st tee and the 18th green. Probably wont be back

What can I say that five stars doesn’t already. We really enjoyed having our wedding here. The brand new pavilion is great looking and very much suited for any wedding. They use a wedding layout tool that allows you to play around with the space so you can make it your own. Karlene the wedding coordinator really did a fantastic job she made it super easy to decide on the venue. Karlene has a fantastic staff too, they helped so much on the day of and during the setup the night before. We did have a little back up on the food but I think that was more that my family eats like it’s their last meal for every meal. And the meal! Holy moly! So good, the Chef they have at The Falls is spectacular. The chicken was moist and tender the steak was cook to perfection, I’ll never understand how he made 50+ steaks and none of them were under or over cooked! Don’t get me started on the mushroom ravioli, mouth watering, I had friends that hate mushrooms and they ate it up fast. Over all we would definitely recommend it to other couples that are looking to tie the knot. The pavilion is customizable, the ceremony site has beautiful views and a beautiful arc with greener. We have to say the biggest fact for our decision was indeed Karlene, she was fantastic. She really made the day easier and we could thank her enough.** I recently golf at the course and it was really fun and challenging, the greens are fast unless there wet, the fairways are narrow and there are quite a few hazards, there course has a lot of work being done on it at the moment, looks like their investing quite a bit of time and money into it, looking forward to seeing it when it’s done. I hope they address the T boxes they’re terrible and the cart way needs to be finished. Other than that great views and spectacular service at the pro shop.**

Pros:- Pro shop and Marshals were super nice- pace was play was great- Greens were a bit slow but in good shapeCons:- bunkers either have gravel, weeds or both- for the price I thought the course would have been in better shape
