Ordered a vegetarian Pad Thai extra veggies medium spice...got a vegetarian Pad Thai Xtra Xtra spicy; the spice over powered the whole dish...as someone who regularly eats spicy food (think Northern/Central India spice level tolerance) that's saying something. If I was to search for one positive? The veggies in my dish were an equal mix ratio wise.

Best Thai Express for general Thai chicken! I have tried 5-6 locations and this one is the best. Good portion size and generous amount of chicken. Unlike other locations which have served portions with mostly breading, burnt chicken or food with a weird aftertaste. I will keep going back here.

Great food. Steamed Dumplings were great. Definitely recommend their Beef Pad Se Ew - medium spice!

Food and service is alright, but the self-service station is still closed 3 years after covid started. The notice refers to “Ottawa Public Health” covid guidelines, which are no longer a thing 3 years later. Feels like the employees just don’t want to deal with it at this point.

The cook started yelling at the woman taking the order because someone in the back agreed to give me half chicken and half tofu (which I get at every Thai express without a problem and I ask them to charge me the price of chicken.. so it actually saves their company money since I only want half the amount). He yelled at her for 2 minutes straight while I stood there with my jaw to the floor watching him in disbelief. I then asked if he was the owner or manager and he ignored me and then I asked him again and he ignored me again and then he said it didn't matter who he was. I asked him why he was yelling at her and he told me it didnt matter and it had nothing to do with me. I cannot even believe someone would treat their coworker this way. It was incredibly disturbing. I then asked to speak to an owner or manager and he said one wasn't there. I asked for the name of one and was ignored. It wasn't about the price, I ordered extra broccoli, extra sauce and my husband ordered extra meat, extra noodles, and extra sauce. The issue is that I do not enjoy that much chicken. The cook then started yelling at me. I told them to cancel the order as I cannot morally support such a disturbing situation. Tbh I am a bit worried for the female worker. The man wasn't her manager or boss in any way and should NOT be treating people that way. Especially since she did nothing wrong in the situation (she got approval from someone in the back). Then they told me you can only do half and half meat when it's chicken and beef .. which to me only solidified the fact that the amounts of meat are not pre-dished out and there truly would be no reason they wouldn't want to do half chicken and half tofu. The chicken option is more money. What a wild experience. I hope that girl is alright! I will not support this location while they continue to have this psychotic man working. He should be locked up.

I usually get my Thai express fix at this location and the last 2 visits have been terrible. Didn't write a review after the first incident as I thought maybe it was a one-off (semi-raw beef in the pad Thai so the meat was slimey and gooey) but after yesterday's experience I had to write this. Got my usual beef pad Thai again and midway through the meal I found what looked like a felt pad that goes on furniture legs! How that got into the food is beyond me, but needless to say I felt sick just thinking about the germs that got into the food from this thing.

If you’re looking for quick, easy, fast food this is an option. The food quality is not premium nor is it very healthy, but the place is clean, the service is speedy and the staff is quite nice. The seating area is comfortable as well, and you can spend the time you need. I would recommend fixing the bathroom area.

We ordered chicken thai basil fried rice and shirim pad thai.Both the flavour is good. With the fried rice there's was only carrot as vegetable no other vegetables. The was something strange with the chicken... it somewhat looks like chicken but it tasted so rough and chewy.Almost it tasted like pork. I wonder where they source the chicken from and how it's been processed. It does not look healthy at all.

not very friendly. Ordered a stir fry. only veggies were red pepper, onion and a few slivers of carrots. Nothing green. Very bland assortment. Cost $2 more than menu showed. Container was far from full. And the food was cold. Will not be going back.

Nice place but they definitely need some improvement in order to have a better customer service.The cashier was not aware of the discount for the goodlife members and other promotions they offer.
