Dr Ashley and crew are the best. I've had animals all my life and now I have the best darn Vet in the world. We are extremely fortunate.

Phoned I a crippled seagull(a million out.there, right:>)..no scoffing or hangup.. receptionist was so nice.. she said she'd call back after connecting with Wildlife Society....I ended up calling her to cancel..better a leg than a wing, eh? Qualicum people ate wonderful.

Met today with Dr Vanessa, she was very comforting and open to listen to my concerns regarding my girl, nice to have a helpful and caring vet, helped relieve anxiety that we were having regarding a potential heart murmur. Felt 10 times better walking out then I did walking in! Ladies at the reception were also lovely. Thank you!

Office staff and veterinarians have always been very professional and friendly. The ladies at the front always greet us and our dog Charlie with a smile.

This Vet office is a very caring and loving to all it's patients.They also treat the fur-babies parents with understanding kindness and support.

Despite the fact that I live in North Cowichan, it's never an inconvenience to bring my dog here. The staff and vets are amongst the kindest and most compassionate I've ever met. My dog just loves every single one of them. Especially Dr. Linton. We were in a few weeks ago to pick up her flea and tick meds and she got very excited when she saw him. He was busy and didn't see her. She was visibly crushed lol. This past Wednesday, we were in for her annual check up and we met Dr. Finch for the first time. Lexie was very happy to meet this very friendly and professional vet. Keep up the great work!

Before our Bailey, I have had a dog before. Finding a good vet was always a challenge.We moved to Vancouver Island a little over a year ago and searching for a vet I started to make phone calls. When I called Qualicum Beach Animal Hospital, I liked the receptionist on the phone so much, I started to look forward to meet our new vet.Dr. Ashley Barnauer has her heart and mind set on the pets like no other vet I have met. When we make a visit with Bailey, I feel, as nobody is as important to her than my pup. She makes her clients very important to her and obviously, they areYesterday, we had an emergency and the receptionist immediately found a spot for us to see the vet. Dr. Ashely wasn't available, but she recommended Dr. Graeme Linton. We were a bit disappointed that it won't be our vet, which we are used to, but luckily, Dr. Graeme was equally caring, knowledgeable and focused only on what realistically can be achieved without prescribing tons of pills or scheduling exams that might not be relevant at that moment. We and mainly our dog, were well taken care of; the whole time in the world was available to us, discussing everything in a very relaxed atmosphere. And our Bailey showed the first symptoms of improvement that same evening.I cannot omit the receptionists; Debbie and Anita are the ones we have dealt the most with. They are knowledgeable, they have excellent verbal communication skills and they make customers feel welcome and at home.As you can guess, I'd highly recommend Qualicum Beach Animal Hospital. You and your pup will have the proper care here.
