Lots of great information available and workshops to help improve career prospects. Staff is eager to guide you to find the resources you need for you specific situation. There's also a legal clinic, business coaches and accountant to help with taxes for your business if you become a member. The membership fee is low ($30 I think), and the services are free. It's located near McGill metro station and there's lots of coffee shops and other places to eat in and around the building.

I didn’t have a good experience. I truly felt like I was being judged by my situation and the counsellor I saw just wanted to put her agenda and ideals on me. Even though I told her my wants and needs she just dismissed it. I wasted so much time going to this place.

Filled up a form, paired with a job developer who emailed me once, I replied, no response for 2 weeks, followed up, no response whatsoever. My understanding is the service is extremely underfunded, especially that it’s an english service. Had to resort to French similar services.

Not a good experience! They Profile people and humiliate you openly just because of a status. The Centre deserves no star and you should not google it let alone visit it. Ridiculous!!!!

Very useful service for job seekers as for business owners. As for business coaching, it’s practically free for only 30$ a year. Second year with them, and no complaints. The only improvement point I would add is to recruit more business coaches, as their availability is limited

My experience was soso. Some of the free workshops I've taken were okay.For some of the paying course workshops it's best for people to ask previous class takers on how it went. (reviews, ratings..etc) because if you end up paying and find out, after the first day of class, you don't want to continue they will not give you a refund. (They have feedback sheets ~ Don't be afraid to use them. Voice out your opinions (positively) and give helpful suggestions.)

Great place to go to for help in finding a job, helpful workshops, and helpful people. Other than the French for Job Seekers course (not helpful) and a really negative/rude career counselor (a woman who's been there for over a decade - choose a newer counselor and it should be fine) I highly recommend using all of their services.

A great place to foster knowledge for job seekers, I used Yes Montreal services and workshops, especially my adviser Erin Draper, she helped me kindly and patiently. finally overcome sadness and depression and get a perfect result after 5 months.

The office is located at such a great space. So convenient to access. And so warmly but professionally decorated.YES knows what they are doing and work hard to keep their clients happy. Of course, every counsellor has their own personal experience but they work to get their clients on track to find the job they want. Their points about résumés and interviews are on point, their approach is encouraging and friendly but also strict. They need you to work, so they can help you.I was there for barely a week but gained a lot. Recommend them.
