My eight-year-old nephew enjoys visiting Larry" and his store. He says

Very disappointed in dealing with this establishment last Saturday. Purchased one small item at $3.55 plus tax. Paid by credit card. Received credit card receipt but no register receipt showing item purchased. Upon getting home found I’d been charged $9.53. Went back to store later to question discrepancy, taking with me my credit card receipt and the one item purchased, still bearing its $3.55 price tag. Was advised that I must have purchased something else and that it would be shown on my register receipt. I advised that I did not receive a register receipt. Reluctantly, the person with whom I was dealing (owner?) removed the tape from the register and determined that a $4.25 greeting card had been included in my purchase. I did not purchase a greeting card, had no need for one, did not take one from the store and did not have one. I asked for a refund for the item I did not purchase. Was advised that I’d have to return the greeting card to get a refund. Obviously I couldn’t return an item I didn’t possess. After much discussion I stated that I would no longer do business with this establishment. I was told that that was my choice. I left the store. This store has lost any potential future business over a measly $4.25 plus tax. A clear example of terrible customer relations. My lesson: make sure I confirm the amount I’m paying before tapping my credit card.

Don’t shop here. The store owner is very rude. This place should not even be in business anymore. They have no proper customer service!!

Friendly owner, unique combination of goods! Fascinating selection of greetings cards, gifts and stationary (some local!) Cuts keys, has mailboxes too. Very useful store with great customer service.

Excellent service very helpful I highly recommend them.

This is the best place to pick up greeting cards, I come on every special occasion to get one. There is an entire wall stacked full of them with a huge variety. The shopkeeper is also very nice and helpful, would definitely recommend!

Rude and inappropriate customer service regarding a parcel drop off for Fed Ex. I was put in contact with the store by a Fed Ex customer service rep when the parcel could not be located in their system as I had dropped it off for delivery at this location. The store rep stated to me that men would not make the mistake of not scanning the parcel at drop-off nor along route. He reiterated that it was impossible for two men to make the mistake of not scanning the parcel. His solution was to accuse me of never dropping the parcel to begin with. Outcome was the parcel was eventually located at the destination and had not been scanned on drop-off nor along route.

Awful service from Larry. I was calling for a specific Paperblanks book, to see if they had it. He said ‘you will have to come in to see, I’m not looking for you’. I live 45 minutes away...a wasted trip would not make me happy. I would never shop here.
