We got a quote beforehand a woman came to our house to lookat our furniture and said the price would be between $1400 and $1600 for the move .We moved 10 minutes away to an apartment on the 5th floor.We provided the elevator key for the movers.We labeled our boxes and totes my husband used cardboard to protect our prints .The movers brought items from the garage after being told to leave them there to donate.They broke 2 TVs and a toaster. Put everything in one room in the apartment and at the end of they day they charged us $2536.27 they charged by the weight and the time.The worst we have ever experienced . Beware of this moving companyIt was one of the worst experiences we had.

I had reached out to several moving companies and decided Minute Men seemed the most applicable option to go with, even though they charge the most. They had offered full coverage, quoted a timely and efficient process, and also mentioned they are professionals of the business.I decided to go with the full coverage, which I find out later they basically cover nothing and do not inform you about the limitations upfront when offering it.The day of the move was not the greatest - the movers did not have enough floor runners or wardrobe boxes (they blamed the office for that). They also had myself (who mentioned beforehand I am suffering from a recovering back injury) dismantle furniture, which is stated from them that they take care of it.We moved into a brand new house and the movers did not have enough floor runners and decided to walk through the house without any and said well we don't have enough runners". That is not an excuse to walk on anybody's flooring unprotected

Horrific service, padding of hours, and poorly prepared items for move. We used this company for an international move from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island to Seattle Washington. There were two stages to the move the first had them packing up our stuff and moving it to our garage to await the international pickup and move. In that first part of the move they misrepresented the hours that they had worked which would have been a few hundred dollars in extra costs. After many back and forth messages the company agreed to credit our international move for the difference in padded hours. The movers didn't wrap our belongings well and left our furniture unprotected in the garage.When it came time to load our stuff for the international move they second crew that showed up was more professional, but were in shock at the way our belongings were left by the crew who did the initial move. They packed up our stuff on the 23rd of August with a potential deliver date of Aug 25 - Sept 9. They put everything in a locked C-can and put a seal on the container that we were told would not be removed until our belongings reached our home in Seattle. Our items arrived 3 days after the latest possible delivery date, our belongings had been removed from the sealed container and put on a different moving truck. The Minute Men movers did not communicate to us along the way and despite 5 different attempts to call to get an update I never heard from them. I always had to call them to get an update on where our belongings were.All in all they are incompetent, untrustworthy and I would not recommend you use them for any kind of move. We have moved internationally and across continents 3 times prior to this move and all of the companies we used were better at their work than Minute Men Movers. Absolute sham of a company with incompetence at it's core. They should have no stars, but I wasn't given that options so I gave them one star.

Had Minute Men as our International movers from Nanaimo to the U.K. They came and packaged everything very well and then the goods were taken to the depot in Nanaimo and held there for weeks... We were told anything from 5 to 12 weeks for the removal, no problem.. goods eventually took 15 weeks.. Also no tracking number until about 12 weeks in..Over estimated cubic footage and which we paid for in advance. We were given a refund.. which was sent to a closed bank account.. we were moving to the UK, no discussion as to where we wanted the refund. On speaking to the accounts department in Nanaimo ‘ not our problem,’ it is now the 9 July and still not received the refund. Would not recommend Minute Men.

The two guys that arrived (on time) were great. I was impressed with how polite and courteous both movers were. I would totally recommend the company to anyone looking for quality help.Cheers, Scott.

I used their service at the beginning of the month to help me move from a house to an apartment. I hired 3 guys and was very happy I did. They were really fast, efficient, friendly and took good care of my items. The price was on par for what I was quoted, so I am happy with the service I received.

My wife and I would like to express our thanks to Minute Men Moving for our recent move into our new home. Everything we were told would happen did and everything was on time and on budget. The professionalism during the entire process was everything one could hope for when going through a move. We would especially like to thank Suzanne for stepping us through the entire process and co-ordinating the move with the rest of the team at Minute Men. We would also like to thank Denis and his crew for the professional, efficient and friendly manner in delivering our household goods to our new home.

I was very impressed with the team that packed my stuff. They were professional and listened to my concerns about specific items that I was worried about. The team that delivered and unpacked things were efficient and got the job done quickly. I will admit there were a few more scratches on my furniture than before they were moved but that could be expected from any move. When I called the office with any questions, I was helped politely and quickly. Overall, great experience!

Absolutely the best move ever. Right from the outset when I first called to request an estimate I felt comfortable. The lady who answered the phone was courteous and professional. Suzanne promptly came to give us an estimate and her friendly professional manner raised my comfort level several notches. The crew was super efficient. Everything was carefully wrapped and handled with care. State of the art equipment for moving boxes minimized time and workload. Kudos to Denis, Diondre and Brendan for a great job. During the move one of the movers had to leave due to a reassignment for medical reasons. Within minutes someone showed up to take his place so we were not left short. That's efficiency. I would highly recommend Minute Men Moving for your move. If we ever decide to move again I know who I'll be calling.
