They also don't over inflate their estimates of savings - they are pretty conservative so you know what you are getting.You can absolutely trust this company and I would highly reccomend everyone does. I can confidently say if 10 years go by and I have an issue Josh will be back to fix it without hesitation.

HFX Solar just completed my rooftop solar installation. They installed 33 panels with microinvertors for a total of 13.37 KW DC system. I got several quotes from other installers and found HFX Solar to be very competitive and installing quality equipment. I was very pleased with their work, right from the initial call to the final installation. They did exactly what they quoted me on with no hiccups whatsoever. Communication was great, they took the time to explain exactly how the system works and kept me up date during the process. All all work was done in within the frame they quoted. Happy making my own power. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to have solar installed.

I work for NSP and have had many dealings with a lot of solar companies within my career. I have dealt with Josh (the owner) on numerous installs and I have watched Josh grow his company. The main reason for HFX solars stead growth is Josh’s comment to delivering a good product and giving the proper support a customer deserves all at a fair price.I first met Josh when he was installing for another company, and he was the installer for my solar system, but not the owner. He was the guy on the roof that many homeowners never see or meet. Josh with his open and approachable manner was eager to help me out when I was told by his boss that I wasn’t able to monitor the system from away. When I asked Josh he said yes you can, he said text me your email. So, I get a text from him Sunday afternoon, in less than 48 hrs he had me up and running, just to make sure I got what I wanted. He did this as the installer who is normally mounting rails and mounting panels and is usually up on the roof, not the IT support guy.When I had an issue with my system 3.5yrs later and tried to contact my original installer, I was ghosted and so was my warranty so I thought. I reached out to Josh and explained my situation and he said I will swing by and check it out. I then received a text from him saying that I had warranty parts that were failing. He said he would handle it and within a week he was waiting on parts and within two weeks he and one of his Installer’s Colin were on my roof on a Saturday and had me back up and running 100% before they left my property.This is the reason for my 5 star rating for HFX Solar, for Josh and his crew who went above and beyond to deliver customer satisfaction.Don’t waste your time looking any further, stick local with these guys, they know their stuff and are not here for the short haul. They know how to deliver great prompt customer service. I highly recommend HFX Solar if you are looking to have solar installed.

We were very happy with our project with HFX Solar. In the planning phase, they took the time to explain all the details and answer all our questions, in order to tailor a system specific to our situation. As for the installation, we could not have asked for a more considerate, professional, and efficient crew to do the work. In conversation it came out that they were working as if we were doing it on our own house" and that meant a lot to us. Communication was always prompt and there were no surprises. HFX Solar was professional and effective from start to finish. They were responsive to questions (we had many!) and communicated effectively about scheduling, requirements to access our home, and what we could expect with every step of the process. They showed up on time and even worked closely with NS Power so we didn't have to on the final install and 'go live' inspection. A great experience!

Hfx Solar recently completed installation of the solar panels on our house. It is so exciting to see the house being powered by the sun! We got quotes from 3 companies and we are very happy that we chose Hfx Solar for our purchase and installation. I can't say enough about HFX Solar. What a great company to do business with. During this process we changed our mind several times regarding how we were going to finance this upgrade and Eric was always super accommodating and patient. Everyone who came to the house weather it was for measurements or installation of components and electrical were extremely polite and friendly. You can tell that everyone who works for this company takes great pride in their work and the workmanship shows that. I have already recommended them to several people who were considering going solar. I'm looking forward to the spring and summer to see how much money we're saving. Very happy with the whole experience with HFX Solar, from consultation, to regular updates, to the final installation process. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
