Malton

A neatly maintained GO station with just about enough parking if you get in before 08.00/08.30 AM weekdays. The waiting rooms do have heaters.

Never leave your vehicle overnight at this Station! Mine was one of 3 who had their windows smashed and their cars ransacked. It is not safe. I’m now out hundreds of dollars and there was nothing to steal in my vehicle. Definitely be aware of the risks before you decide to leave your vehicle and be ready to take responsibility for your choice. What a way to end a lovely weekend to Toronto.

Go bus will arrive this station full most of the time ! And you have to wait another 1 hour to catch the other one if it isn’t full !!!!! Very bad, unorganised service. You all know people finish their work around 5 pm !!!! Have extra busses for that time at least!!!!

Its a ok station. There is ticket booths and access to the tracks.finding the south exit is sometimes tricky, its not the same way as the tunnel to cross the tracks.I have always used Go trains here, and no problem always on schedule with a display board. I felt bad for a Via rail passenger the other day, he had a via train to board at that station but his via rail ticket didnt say a platform# and there was no display for Via rail trains arrivals. when my go train arrived, i told him his was the next train to arrive, the Via train schedualed right after the go train, i looked it up on my phone for him. But some other guy convinced him to take the go train to Bramalea, and he ended up missing his train because the via train didnt stop at Bramalea on its way to london, his final destination. So he missed his train, and it was because Via has no signage at the station, and his ticket had no info about platform either. so -1 star because if they had a display board for Via too then he would have got his train.

This GO Transit train station is located at Derry Road in Malton (Missisauga). The station is neat & clean and have basic facilities. For tickets they have a counter in hut type small building and habe two automatic machines. This station is located on Kitchener line so you can catch a train for Union Station, Toronto or for Kitchener. Train service is only available in weekdays (except late evening) but bus service is available for late weekday evenings and weekends. They also have a balance checker machine outside the entrance for Presto Card users. Pearson Airport is very close and International centre is just behind the station. They have ample parking space but it gets filled by 8am. You can also park your vehicle in the parking space of International Centre as you can enter the station from that side too. 505 Zum Bovaird Express Bus of Bramton Transit connects it with airport road. 505 bus runs from Malton Station to Mount Pleasant Station via Airport Road and then Bovaird Drive. Mississauga Transit also has their bus service form this station but frequency is too low. During odd times or late evenings there is no Brampton Transit service to this station but you can catch a bus for Westwood Mall from bus stop located at the intersection of Derry Road East and Station entrance. Malton GO station is also shared by VIA Rail but train only stops if any passenger has any booking. The only negative point about Malton GO station is that you can only use their washroom if GO transit staff is present in their Hut type building as washroom is inside their building and they lock the building after their working hours.

Very good location , Close to Pearson Airport and Malton Bus Terminal , ample space for parking , very clean .

I take the train everyday from here to get to union, its a small clean station. But with more people taking the train from here they really need to do something about the parking. After 8:35 you will not find any space in the lot. We use to be able to park across from here but now that is zoned off as a construction zone. There needs to be more trains running in general I have to stand most days and I don't want to pay to stand all the way.

Whole neighbourhood is good.

This GO station is good because of the serviceability of regular GO trains and buses. Its problem is the connection of MiWay buses. If you transfer from the train to these buses, you have to cross the entire parking lot, walk between parked cars, and there are no sidewalks.
