Sometimes “dope spot” just tells the right story & this place checked all the boxes. The food was great, the drinks were on point & the service had us leaving with a smile. We popped in before heading to the Canucks game and it’s now going to be a staple of my Vancouver Pregame.

We are lucky to have a top notch Tiki bar here in Vancouver. Technically it's a restaurant and the food is quite decent, and not overpriced, but the reason to come here is for the absolutely authentic and delicious cocktails made with precision and panache.Rivalling the experience one gets at famous Tiki locations like Hale Pele in Portland and Smugglers Cove in San Fran, and Tiki-ti in LA, the drinks and ambiance are faultless.Some people come in not fully realizing what a fortunate town we are to have authentic Tiki drinks perfectly presented in such a finely crafted environment. This is not a place for real Polynesian cuisine or traditional Hawaiian food. It's about the beverages, like all great Tiki establishments past and present. The drinks are made with bespoke ingredients to exacting standards and with finely measured consistency. No sweet tutti-frutti sticky with grenadine drinks here.Demand for reservations is justifiably through the roof, so plan ahead.

The Shameful Tiki Room
This place is wonderful to go with friends or as a couple. Cocktails are amazingly good. I went with friends on a Sunday evening and we enjoyed it so much. First time in The Shameful Tiki Room and YOU have to go! The cocktails are to die for. IT WAS FIRE! The service we received was amazing, and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us a great experience with the go-go dancers performances.

This place is a lot of fun. I was looking for a fun place to grab a drink one night with my husband, and we found this place without really reading the reviews. The drinks were strong and the vibe of the place was light hearted, I would recommend coming here. When it was showtime, they had audience participation, and that was a riot lol.

Really cool place to go for drinks if you can get a table. Definitely recommend making reservations, but we were lucky and got a table. Very fun place, drinks are delicious and the food is okay, I thought the sliders were the best. Very fun place to go have some drinks in a unique place. We definitely will be back!

Meh. Not sure what the hype is about. Finally made it here and I can't say we will be back. First off, the temperature inside made the night unbearable. We actually couldn't finish our 2nd round of drinks or food. Not sure if the AC was broke or if it ever existed? It was damp and so hot...not an enjoyable place to sit. I've been to Tiki bars and ones in Hawaii...they are open and airy! Sitting in a wet, smoky, suffocating tiny room isn't our idea of a great time. I don't understand the appeal but maybe we came on an off night.I'll say the service was fine though. Attentive and accommodating. No issues there. We ate before we came though because the menu was all over the place, nothing really tiki-ish and read alot of 'pre-prepared or possibly frozen items reheated'. My friend did end up ordering the Mac and cheese bites and we each tried one. There was no attempt to make them good...even down to the plain ketchup on the plate lol. (Owners could learn from say, Augustines Mac and Cheese croquettes...heaven).Drinks were ok...and honestly we had really high hopes for the drinks but the multitude of other cocktail bars around town make better. Overall it seemed really, really tired and run down to us. It was lack luster and if you look too hard at everything, it's maybe time for a reno and revamp.Service was the only redeeming thing to us and it's not enough to come back or even recommend to others. Would love to see a breath of fresh air (literally and figuratively) in the place.

Awesome place to book in advance for a few friends to have a great night at. Drinks are awesome, food great, staff wonderful and great theatrics... loved it. Highly recommend.

The Shameful Tiki Room
The Shameful Tiki Room has an excellent atmosphere and decor. I thoroughly enjoyed the performances, and the cocktails were generously poured. However, the food could use some improvement.
