Wakwak is indeed wack wack- what a fitting name. What an insanely horrible cheeseburger with no flavor in it. The thin meat patty tasted like a bland pork than beef. How in the hell does this place have over a 4 rating? People downtown really have ridiculously low standards. Jesus, guys.

I came across this burger truck while walking down Granville Street. The price got me to stop and look and the interesting Japanese style burgers got me to try and buy. I ordered the okonomi burger just because I've never tried one. It was great and hit the spot. The only negative was the wait to order the food and the wait to get the food. Understanding it was lunch time it didn't take more than 6 min for both. If you need a quick bite, I can recommend this place.

Heard about this place on Facebook and just had to check it out. I ordered the regular burger as well as the teriyaki burger. Both were good, definitely worth a try at least once. The staff was also very friendly, and chatty. Will probably go back again to try their other flavors.

One of the cheapest and best burger places in downtown Vancouver! This place is renowned for their famous $2.85 burger. I highly recommend you try one of these. I love these so much that I unintentionally took a bite out of mine before I took a picture of it. Also, quick tip: if the patty seems too thin, then get a double burger for only a dollar extra. Give it a try!

I didn't think Vancouver would have its own cheap burger stop that could stack up to other regional chains like In-N-Out or Shakeshack. They've got Bin 4, which is phenomenal-- but they're definitely in the premium range of burger restaurants, which you can't really compare with street food or fast food, especially considering the hefty price.Wakwak, despite not being a chain, hits that cheap, quality burger craving perfectly. For me, it's a bit of a trip, but always worth stopping by whenever I'm downtown. Tried 4 items on their menu and all of them were fantastic. And with burgers these good starting at 2.85, you really can't complain.

Tried their Teriyaki Cheese Burger for the first time and loved it!! You really can't beat this price with the qualify of the burger, especially in Vancouver. Great service with very fresh ingredients and the bun is super soft as well. This is definitely better than In-N-Out in my opinion. Would definitely go back. (Btw today they were at W 8th & Manitoba, on W 8th)

The rumours are true. Yes, you can get a burger for $2.85. Comes with crisp lettuce, juicy patty, sliced onions and a squirt of ketchup. Oh, and that toasty bun too! Great size for a snack. I'd order two for lunch. There are other varieties for an additional charge. Expect to wait 5-10 mins for your order. Service is very friendly.

Sounds and looks very good on their menu, but what you get is basically just a McDonald's burger. We ordered a cheese burger, okonomi burger and teriyaki cheese burger. Okonomi burger had a tiny amount of cabbage and teriyaki burger had a tiny amount of onions. So all in all they all tasted like a regular cheese burger. Not worth.
