As this was my first time buying a used car I was kind of nervous on the Safety Certification required for the Vehicle I had purchased. I set up a day and time with Ian and his crew and they checked out the vehicle and advised of a few issues i had to get resolved. With absolutely no pressure to ensure I get it fixed through them, simply fixed up the items myself, and brought it back. They checked it out and even assisted with an item I couldn't muster through. On top of this, I was fully expecting to re-pay for another visit but they kindly informed me I didnt have to, wrote up the safety cert and on my merry way i was! Got the title to the vehicle now and am thrilled about the service from this crew and shop! Good group of guys and very transparent along the way. Dave and his team are the only ones I’ve ever trusted with my cars (Subaru, VW). I’ve been going to them since they opened in 2004 because they are consistently reliable and professional, obviously taking great pride in the work they do. They diligently and proactively honour warranties and are always clear and honest about the services my car does or does not need (critical to me as a single mom). They give back to the Barrie community as well, which makes me all the more happy to support this great local business.

After several great experiences at Barrie Auto Care I referred my mother to take her vehicle in for service with Dave and his team after she was quoted over 5k by the dealership for repairs and maintenance. Dave’s team saved her over 1800 for the same work with the same parts. Our family now has 4 vehicles being serviced by Dave and his team. We should have written a review years ago when we first were referred to Dave at Napa. This is a shop like no other. I can't imagine taking our vehicles anywhere else EVER.There was an oversight on my vehicle, it happens, we are all busy and could happened to any business. What Dave personally did to rectify the situation was above and beyond. They were super quick to reslolve it, quick to make it right. That outstanding service is what separates them from the other guys. I will never go anywhere else.We highly recommend this business.

These people are outstanding. Very honest, reliable, and courteous.My Mom took her truck in for an out of province safety. They brakes she just had done before her drive out. Weren't done right, and they left on shot parts.So, they gave me an unwanted, but much appreciated to do list on her brakes. I would have just had them do the work. But it was just rotors and pads. So, I did it myself.Free reinspection within 10 days.Awesome people.Highly recommend

We took my wifes 2005 RAV4 to Barrie Auto Care because of a vibration in the front end.They determined that the vehicle needed brakes all around, which I already knew and that the vibration was the tires. We okd the work to be done. After getting the RAv back the vibration worsened

My father has been dealing with Dave at Napa for thee years, buying and storing his tires. Dave was very kind to help my dad with an old sports car he'd purchased the other week, right in the thick of winter tire season. He went above and beyond to help my father with the car, identifying some issues with it and how they could go about fixing them. He was very sympathetic to my fathers situation and was a great help!

My wife and I both take our cars here and could not recommend these guys enough. They’re quick and and give honest advice on what work really needs to be done. The first time I took my car there, they saved me $700 and had it repaired in 2 hours whereas the other quote was much higher and about 7 more labour.100% I would recommend this place.

Ive had an aweful experience with this company. After having work done and a brake inspection on vehicle, was quoted $5020. Could only afford the original work done for almost $2200 and asked if safe to drive home to Oshawa, was told yes. After rough ride home ,after inspection of vehicle, was shown I was allowed to leave without brake calupur bolts for front brakes,had not been put back in. Ill never use Barrie Auto Centre again.
