Terrible experience. Poor customer service. Strung along with empty promises. Initially dropped their USD price by 50% with promises of 98% recovery. I was wary of the price drop but decided to go ahead. Service update requests were ignored. Five months later, nothing had happened & when I wanted my drive back, I was told that if I waited 4 more days it would be complete. Two hours later received an email indicating the drive had been deemed unrecoverable". Ridiculous!"

There were two aspects to my disappointing experience with Secure Data. First, they failed to recover the documents that they reported they could. About 60% was recovered, yet the report came back as 100% recovered.The more significant issue is with customer service. When speaking to a rep things seemed professional, but time and time again there was no follow up. I'd call back, get an apology (even an offer to refund 10% of my payment given the poor experience I was having) yet never any follow through. Val, the customer service manager, has been the worst of all. Despite acknowledging the impact of poor communication and follow through from his company, he has continued the pattern of not responding or following up on things he said he would. I have strived to be kind and patient, however my patience has run out. After 4-5 months of dealing with this company regarding a single recovery project I'm cutting my losses. A very poor overall experience.

I had a very good experience with Secure Data Recovery. They were professional and answered all my questions promptly. They were also very patient while I took the time to decide whether to move forward with the data recovery. At no time did I fell pressured or that they were anything but strait and honest. 5 stars for sure.

Jeff - the bestWhen I realized that the laptop and my external hard drive were broken and that every single place I visited gave me a negative answer, I was desperate because the files represent my whole life.I visited SDR in Eaton and immediately I call customer service. Jeff responded my call and guided quickly me through the whole process of recovery. He had always all the information I needed and tried always to give me the best option for cost.I was over stressed and he was always calm and secure that all my requests were addressed.
