Maple Ridge Golf Course

Absolutely love this course. Perfect for casual golfers. I always play better here and it is really affordable!

Visited maple ridge golf course for the first time and Won’t be back. I hadn’t played a round in a few years since moving to MN.The course itself is a nice course. Arrived at 4:04 pm and left at 645. We got two buckets of balls for the driving range, rented two carts for two golfers and one ride along.We spent 30 minutes or so on the range then started our round. There was a group and a single that started right behind us. Since neither of us had played in a while we let them play through. We knew we would be slower than others. There was nobody else behind us the rest of the evening.The course itself was enjoyable. But…when we went to turn in the keys to the carts, the owner greeted us by confronting us for taking too long.Our intent was to enjoy a relaxing round of golf. If i had known that we needed to rush, we would have chosen a different course. Our encounter at the end of the day ruined our experience. There wasn’t anyone behind us or waiting for us to finish.Looking at other reviews, it doesn’t appear that we are the first to have this experience.I would not recommend the course due to the experience with the owner. Especially if you’re a beginner, don’t play often or haven’t played in a while. We won’t return to maple ridge.

Greens are pretty poor quality and the staff member was quite rude.*Update: As it turns out the rude staff member is the owner, Apparently playing at the pace of the couple in front of us was taking too much time. Sometimes I forget that golf is not intended to be a leisure sport but rather it is a race to finish as fast as possible(my bad). As for the unhappy customers"

We've golfed Maple Ridge dozens of times over the years, and it's our go-to course in the Bemidji area. People are always friendly, course is in good shape, especially for being carved out of a pasture in the north woods.

Great golf course for my family of 4 (including a 9 & 12 yr old). Well maintained greens and fairways, and staff was courteous. I loved the large mature trees, which gave plenty of shade from the sun. Would recommend to anybody looking for a short 9 hole course, kid golfers and seniors.

It’s a good course for the price sure the greens are a bit slow compared to some courses but that’s golf, every course behaves differently. And I don’t know what all this talk is about the employees being mean or rude they are always really nice when I go there.

This was a great course for my first time ever golfing. Don’t let the ignorant comments fool you. Staff was awesome, friendly. And nothing below great. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.

Owner is rude and has no common sense.5/25/23… remember this like it was yesterday… we were golfing with 5 and there was one group in front of us and no one behind us…we didn’t even finish the 3rd hole before we left because of the owner. Don’t know where this story below came from. Definitely didn’t golf 9 holes let alone 18. Haven’t been back since and don’t plan on going back. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend

Not just the members the boss has no comin since either.. Will let a 5 player's tee off but will not let a 6 person playing scotch doubles (6 people 3 balls) play with an empty course. Will never play again!!!!!
