Thanks for acting promptly in the loss of a birth certificate in or on your property . To come back to ask if it was found handed a ticket with not to mention once again a packed waiting room is ridiculous. So much for a passport office or high security area pushing it off and allowing a extended period of time of a piece of identification which should not be in someone elses hands. I also called to get someone in Ontario to maybe get back to us within a day as there are no direct communication to office. I guess a passport or birth certificates are not that big of a deal or suppose to be secure.

Received my new passport and they misspelled my name. Calling them is hopeless. Went to Albert street passport office. Check in was quick, but the Clerk is clueless and doesn’t seems to know what to do. Calling people around. Asking for my birth certificate and other ID, even though it was provided when I initially applied. I had to take off from my work and not getting paid and I am paying these people with my tax dollars while they waste my time. Very poor and inefficient service.

Had an appointment. Arrived early and was in and out in less than ten minutes could not have had better service.

Completely unsatisfactory service. Not enough staff, poor service, poor wait times and absolute failure in results. Make it near impossible and completely tedious, tiresome and infuriating to acquire a Canadian Passport for anyone that doesn't live a perfect white collared, picket-fenced house, 9-5 40 hour work week lifestyle. It's understandable they have rules and regulations to follow, but when those same rules and regulations are hindering Canadian citizens from acquiring a Canadian Passport, it's time to either change the stupid rules they have or start understanding and compromising for the customers that don't live under the guidelines of what the Canadian Passport office considers normal" and "within expected assumptions""

Don’t come here unless you want to be verbally abused. The man working at the front was beyond rude and hostile for no reason. He yelled and humiliated not only me but everyone else waiting in line with me. Is it a prerequisite to be a miserable, horrible person to work this job? The way he was treating people was absolutely unacceptable. This government should be ashamed for hiring someone like this, and the people working with this man should be ashamed for not reporting him to someone.

I came in at the worst time (early January on a Friday), expecting a long wait time given the time of year, however despite the longer wait the experience was really positive. The staff were helpful, verifying the information of people waiting to help speed up the process and cut down the waiting time, and were also encouraging those who could come back another day - during less busy hours - to feel free to do so, so that they were not waiting needlessly. While waiting is never fun, it was a positive experience. I also HIGHLY recommend filling out all of your information AT HOME! You can either print it off or pick up the paperwork from their office and take it home to come back another day!

Big waste of time! Went to the passport office with everything necessary, paid parking, and even came into town from Moose jaw. Got there and was greeted by a guy who checks your stuff and gives you a number. Waited an hour till our number was called only to get to the desk and be told that they can't submit it. I guess you don't need an education or even a decent IQ to work there.

The wait was minimal, there were 4 clerks working, and my interaction with the service provider was pleasant and efficient. I think it certainly helps to complete the forms ahead of time and to read carefully what is required so you have your documents ready.

Absolutely horrendous service. I would give zero stars if that were an option. First of all the address listed directs you to their old location on Albert Street. A paper sign will then direct you to the Alvin Hamilton building but will then direct you to another entrance. Oh but just wait. If you want your passport for any time in the future for over 25 business days you will have to come back sooner. So forget trying to plan any holiday in advance unless you want to pay more money. The guard will then smugly notify you that the information is present on the website. However, if you would like to navigate the government website which is akin to traversing the Catacombs of Paris then good luck. The absolute incompetence that you will experience is mind boggling. Even though it states that walk in appointments are available (guess what?) they are not regardless of how busy it is.
