Bangkok Spoon Deluxe
My wife and I came here just in time to take advantage of their lunch specials before 3pm.Food:We both ordered the Green Curry Shrimp with a side soup of the day. The soup was just a handful of chunks of chicken in broth which was underwhelming and the broth was too oily for our liking so we didn't finish it. The salad was really nice and fresh although we did pick 1 or 2 pieces of wilted lettuce from them and the oil they put on it collected in the bottom of the bowl making the final few bites soaking with oil so I'd rather they drained it before serving. The main dish was excellent though. Fresh and well cooked shrimp, good flavour with a bit of kick. I mixed the rice in with the shrimp curry and it was delicious. The spring roll was ok, a touch oily and so was the little sauce they give you to dip.Service:Fast and friendly service, they checked in on us to make sure we're okay. There were only a couple other tables when we were there.Overall good place but could use a little tweaking of the oil use.

Went for lunch. Really good lunch deal. Appetizers, salad, soup was delicious! My main course was spicy lemongrass pork, but it was not spicy at all. More sweet than anything. It might’ve even been the wrong order but it wasn’t my taste. Everything else was delicious. Service was very quick. Everything came at once, so maybe even too quick. But still very good and a nice atmosphere.

Fantastic. I had the appetizer sampler with a side of sticky rice and it was more than plenty for me. The crab Rangoon filling was some of the best I've had. Everything and everyone was amazing.

What a great place.Definitely one of the best Thai places Ive been to in a long time.Stopped in for Linner on our way to Burlington. Food was hot, fresh, and deliscious.I had the seafood fried rice which was loaded with seafood and the flavkrs were so good.Beef and basil was also on point. Little spicy for me so next time ill ask for a little less spice.Service here was one of a kind. The manager sat us instantly.

Late lunch on a Friday afternoon led us to this restaurant in Dundas. This was the place recommended for a good Thai food, as I have been craving for a good Pad Thai. We were asked if we wanted to sit on the patio and immediately said yes, and we were ushered through part of the kitchen to get to the patio located behind he restaurant. The patio was lovely and the early afternoon offered a nice cool breeze that made it easy to enjoy the outdoor dining. Our server was pleasant and experienced. For a party of 3, we ordered the Bangkok Pad Thai, Red Curry Duck and Black Peppercorn Oh My Fish. The Pad Tai came wrapped in a thin layer of crepe-like fried egg, which we dissected to get to the goodness of the noodles and vegetables with a single prawn. There was nothing special about it except for the unique presentation and the flavors did not pop. The Red Curry Duck was amazing but the portion was very small. The lightly battered fried fish was bathed in brown sauce with slices of Red and white onions, green and red bell peppers which made the dish very attractive but didn’t have the flavor that satisfied the palate. Coconut rice was the choice of side which lacked the ‘coconut’ flavor. Generally, it was a good experience but I’ve had better flavors elsewhere.

Went for lunch on a Thursday and the place was absolutely packed. You had to stand and wait for a table to open up.The waiter or host was abrupt and rude. He didn’t actually greet us, just demanded to know if we had reservations. We did not think a late lunch on a Thursday would need reservations. While the host stood beside a table where people were eating, he pointed at them and told us very loudly and rudely that we would get their table when they left. I was actually mortified by this. It was so rude to the people sitting there. I know if I were them, I’d feel badly on that end too. It was tactless. The seats aren’t comfortable with screens only going to the bench seat and no farther back so your virtually sitting right next to the strangers at the table next to you and can hear their conversations. The bench and the chairs are also different heights making it awkward to have conversation with your dining companions.The food is good but extremely overpriced for portions. What they are calling a “crab claw” in the Radnar Talay entree is actually just a tiny crab leg and is laughable at best with its minuscule size. Three Crab Rangoons for $14 is ridiculous!We asked that the Pad Thai come without onions, they didn’t honour that request and it came with lots of onions. We requested a lime wedge for the Pad Thai and the waitress couldn’t be bothered to get us one and we never got it.We had leftovers but the containers are so poorly designed that they leaked contents out all over the place, so we tossed them in the garbage out front of the restaurant because we didn’t want it to spill in our car.The service is abrupt and not enjoyable.Not in a rush to go back.

This restaurant is incredible. The staff here are so nice and treat you very well. Despite it being busy the food came so fast. Everything tasted amazing! Would totally recommend this place for an authentic Thai restaurant.
