The Veggie Thali
It’s is very costly. Just a channa masala cost $10. Usually every restaurant gives with one naan or roti, but they just give one medium Chana masala at $10 and roti for $1.75. Every shop in Scarborough I went till now they give samosa max to max 0.75 cents and here it’s $1.50 plus tax. I went couple of restaurant as I work on field, every restaurant I go have this items and it’s charged around $11 to $12. And this restaurant charge me $19.Don’t visit the restaurant, it’s very costly with not proper good taste food.

Good food, just that not everything came out at once. Our mini thali order included rice, roti and 2 vegs - we received the rice and vegs, and the rotis didnt come out until we were nearly done. Overall though great foods!

Tiny space with friendly service. The food is good too. Flavours are all there, but because it's missing the dairy component, the food isn't as rich.I ordered the thali with channa masala, aloo gobi and aloo baingan. The portion for what you pay is big and filling, but you don't feel heavy afterwards. Also got their veggie biryani to go. The rice was a bit overcooked, but good overall.I would recommend this place for those with strict vegan diets. But if you are not vegan, then there are better Indian food elsewhere.

It's a small place serving some amazing homely vegan Indian food. We went for Samosa as a starter, a Pav Bhaji plate and their Thali. In the end, we also tried their Kabab Wrap.Food:Samosa was quite good, although the filling was simple (potatoes and peas seasoned with salt and pepper). Pav Bhaji was really tasty. It was less spicy, so could have been better. The bun was nice and well toasted. Red onions would go better than white ones. Lemon was too small. Coming to the Thali, it had Roti, Aloo Gobi and Saag sabzi, Daal, Plain Rice, Salad and Suji Halwa. We also ordered Papad separately to complement the Thali. Roti was very good - soft and homely. Aloo Gobi was great. Not much spicy but just enough. I am not really a fan of Saag, in general, but this one was eatable. The best thing in the Thali was Daal - really great and homely. It was mildly spiced - not sure if they were trying to replicate a Gujarati Daal then it was not a good job done. Rice was good and fluffy. The salad was not seasoned at all - maybe it was the way they wanted to keep it. The raw mango in the salad was nice, but otherwise, it was just capsicum and onions. I loved the Suji Halwa as well - very difficult to create the same wow factor when made vegan because the non-vegan version uses ghee and it's very difficult to beat that taste. However, this one used vegetable oil but the Halwa was still quite rich. Papad was disappointing - too oily (they had fried it) - but I guess if we had known, we would have asked for a roasted one. Kabab Wrap was great too - simple and humble roll which was very well spiced and quite neat to eat.Ambiance:It's a small place with 2-3 tables and a few high chairs. Most of their customers would be for takeout is what we felt - especially students and bachelors who may not be knowing cooking that much; it's a great place for them to have meals. Good natural light on a sunny day and even otherwise, during the day.Staff and Service:The staff was good and friendly. The service was decently quick to us but there was another customer who had been waiting for her Papad for long and was visibly not very happy about the wait as she was more than halfway through her meal.Overall, it's a great place to have some good Indian vegan food.

We ordered a Thali and a Pav Bhaji. This place has created vegan magic with traditional Indian food. Spice level was as good as it is back home.

Love this place! I wanted to look for Thali and this place happens to make vegetarian/vegan thali. It's 15$ for a regular thali and you get a dessert, rice, 2 roti, a vegetable side, and 3 different mains. It's still worth it even though they did raise their prices. Inflation guys, everyone has to survive. If you don't want to the regular thali, you can get the mini which is $13 and you get 2 mains and rice plus roti. The portions for both thali are still very reasonable so I recommend. My favorite is what I think is a red kidney bean curry and the daal! I've come a few times and every time I visit, there's a new dish I haven't seen. I always have to ask what everything is. Honestly, I'm not vegetarian, but these dishes were absolutely delicious. It's so saucy and goes really well with the roti and rice. I like that the thali gives me variety so I feel like I'm having a mini buffet for takeout. Eat a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. No meat at all, but I was pretty much satisfied. As someone who is a regular meat eater, I appreciated this. The establishment is very clean and the service is friendly even though it's counter food style. Definitely visit!

It’s so exciting to have a fully vegan Indian thali place in TO! Pretty good North-Indian food, though I think the portions for the mini thali could have been bigger for the price. It seemed to be more rice offered than anything else. However, I will definitely be back and will see how the full thali compares! It’s best for takeout, as the spot is pretty small and looks like a fast-food joint.
