AVOID this CT location at all costs. They simply treat everyone as a theft like many other reviews say. My wife went in today and couldn't find what she was looking for. On her way out, a cashier stopped her and demanded to search her bag instead of asking her if she could find what she was looking for. The cashier lady even put her hand into my wife's bag going through her stuff. I called the store and spoke to their manager - Mark. While Mark tried to explain to me that this is their store policy and they have all the rights to search their customers' belongings, he obviously has trouble understanding the difference between RIGHTS and RESPECT. I had no choice but to contact their cooperate office. Jordan helped me to file a formal complaint. I was shocked to learn from him that this kind of complaints is not unique, and it is entirely up to the individual store to implement such policy. This is 2023, not 1950s.

Where to start? One has to track down the staff most of the time to ask for help. This is because the staff are either too busy talking to each other about their social lives or they are too busy stocking shelves or merchandising. The Garden Centre is pathetic, with the plants half dead from lack of watering, and closed to outside access by June. Not to mention the messy and unkept area where the soil, rocks, mulch, etc. are kept. I don't expect this area to be extremely clean, but at least the bags could be stacked properly, dirt from torn bags swept up once and a while, and plastic picked up on a regular basis. The concept of customer service, for the managers of this store, must be foreign, as they do not seem to put the customer first.

Something has really changed here at this store....for the better. I've recently had reason to shop at this store a few times in the past month and each time I received surprisingly great service from store associates on the floor. Rather than me trying to find someone (which has historically been the situation at CTC)...each time I was approached by staff asking if they could help. I practically fell over...couldn't beleive it.!! They were all great....I should have made a mental note of their names to call them out here....but I did acknowledge them at the time. To the managers and store associates there in Orleans ...keep it up....you're doing the right things...it's appreciated.

We were really impressed by how we were served. It was a totally different experience than previous years. Jadon at the cash greated us with a smile, was patient, helpful and polite. Liam, in the seasonal, served with the same respectful manner. Both showed great interpersonal skills. It certainly shows the culture at CT has changed. Bravo!

I was stopped on my way out of the store so they could check my backpack. I had my professional camera with me as I didn't wants to leave it in the car while in the store. I was with my daughter and she didn't find what she was looking for so we did not purchase anything. The thing is the lady that stopped me to check my bag treated me as if I was guilty of stealing. She was so rude. I complied and opened my camera bag. I did not steal anything (and have never stolen anything in my life ) but I was treated as if I did. I have tattoos on both my arms and wondering if this has anything to do with the bag checking.

It’s an okay store. Wish their departments communicated a little better and had a more reasonable approach to cater to clients not assuming customers are always up to take advantage of them.

If I could give zero stars I would. Workers were snarky. Their return policy is laughable at best. Tried to return a CTC ORIGINAL item without a receipt (it was a gift). I expected store credit at the lowest price it sold for (totally reasonable). They refused. Worst. Customer. Service.

We ran out of transmission fluid and Jacob was absolutely amazing with the service he provided. Not only did he ensure he had the products we requested, he had it ready for us at the parts desk when we arrived to pick it up. He also came outside after his shift was over to offer us assistance. He is an amazing young man! He deserves a raise for his excellent customer service!

Happy to shop when there are sales. Wonderful associate by the name of William helped us out when the website said an item.was in stock, but when we got there it wasn't on the store sales floor. William happily went to the back and got us our items so promptly and so kindly to boot. He's a huge asset to this CT location.

Waited almost 40 minutes for the person to refill this and nothing. Found a manager after 20 minutes and he assured me the person was on her way. Left without getting any. Guess I will order on Amazon. Work ethic is definitely nowhere to be found here.UPDATE: I was asked to contact customer care. I did, and provided them with details. They said I would be contacted by the owner. Still waiting.
