Mactaggart Sanctuary
This is quite a decent parking lot. My only feedback would be to clear out the garbages more often as they seem to fill up. Maybe that'll solve itself once people can be doing non-trail things as the pandemic eases.Anyway, the sanctuary is a near weekly stop for our family as the trails here are great.

Mactaggart Sanctuary
Also known as the Larch Sanctuary protected by EALT.The Bee Hotel is a point of intrest. There is a large area to explore, the trail is not too difficult, steep in some places.

Beautiful trails with a lot of side paths to explore with fantastic scenery that makes you feel like your deep in the woods. This loop is quite difficult though with frequent ups and downs on very steep inclines with some slippery mud. Wear good hiking or walking shoes and bring big spray!

Really neat place. I'd recommend good walking shoes. The trails can be narrow in some spots. The pond and Creek are cool.

Mactaggart Sanctuary
Love this nature walk. It is a bit rugged and the terrain changes a lot. You get to see a lot of natural features you don't see often all in one place unless you drive to the mountains. Beaver damn with its resultant pond, creek, steep banks, lush vegetation and I've even seen beavers and deer.

It’s a parking lot. Not sure why people are reviewing the Mactaggart Loop here as there is a separate location for the walking loop. The parking lot is on the small side but adequate.

One of my favorite parks in Edmonton, for photography. Beautiful backdrops so close to the parking lot. It's are to find a place like this so conveniently located in the city.
