Joke of a place. A male who answered the phone can’t even give simple explanations. If you want to deal with this Low life individual, please don’t hesitate to contact this office.

Check the price of the service before hand and ask for a receipt if you don't want to be charged more/much more. However, if you need a paper urgently, they can accommodate you.

Worst experience ever. I want to apply for tourism visa and I couldn't finish it online because the website keeps saying that my application already exit in their system. But this is the first time i apply. So I went to see an officer to help me. I explained to her the situation and she told me that no need to worry it's due to system error which happens very often. I told her about my nationality and she confirmed that I am qualified for Vietnam visa, all I need to do is to try again. So I trusted her. My trip was from Vancouver to Chiang Mai originally. Since she confirmed that i can apply evisa so i added Ho Chi Minh city to my trip. So I am suppose to fly back from Vietnam to Vancouver. Since that officer told me the system error can last for a few days so I retried to apply for my Vietnam visa today. Turns out Vietnam is not issuing visa to people with my nationality. THANKS TO THAT OFFICER'S CONFIRMATION NOW I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CALL MY BOOKING CENTER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IN THAILAND WITH NO PROPER PHONE SERVICE AND TRYING TO CHANGE MY FLIGHT TICKET TO MAKE SURE I CAN FLY BACK FROM THAILAND TO VANCOUVER, WHICH WAS THE ORIGINAL PLAN IF THAT OFFICER DIDNT CONFIRMED THAT I AM QUALIFIED FOR VIETNAM VISA. THANKS TO HER SINCERE SERVICE IF ITS NOT HER I WONT BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE THIS AWFUL NIGHT WORRYING IF I WILL BE ABLE TO GET BACK HOME SAFELY, AND TRYING ALL THE WAY I CAN TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CHANG MY TICKET. THANKS ALOT.

If you're just a tourist visiting Vietnam for less than 30 days, don't bother coming here to get your Visa. Simply apply for the single entry E Visa online (make sure it's the official site). It is only $25 USD and is approved within a week. You will, however, have to apply for additional E Visas if you leave and re-enter Vietnam within the 30 day time frame. I went to this Consulate and the guy, without asking any questions, handed me a form to complete and said the Visa would be $110.

Photo of public open hours taken January 29, 2023. Visited February 13. Was an average visit. Cost for visa was $110 per person. There is something called an eVisa which is a lot cheaper and you complete it online. I would recommend doing this option if you have a decent amount of time before you leave. Staff member was friendly. The office cannot provide a timeline for visa because they no longer approve in house - approval is sent to Vietnam. They do not answer their phone. This would save everyone!

Did some paperwork here for a divorce. If you think this place takes long, try doing paperwork in actual Vietnam. Got it done in an hour, so I was impressed. Quite expensive though. Nice young lady helped us out.

The embassy is located on the 8th Floor, not 6th. With only 2-3 counselors working, I think They did their best to keep up with the people’s requests, needs and questions. If yall don’t wanna have a long waiting time then try going in the morning, avoid going when it’s near closing time. Lost my passport and have the embassy replace for $360 within 15’. A lil pricey but I am most definitely not complaining at all, such a good job they do and very grateful for their help!

Wow! A great service here!Due to an unexpected traffic problem, I arrived late at the Consulate on Robson street when they were closing for the day. However, they stayed on and served me nicely. Even better, they offered me an exceptional express service with on-the-spot photo and immediate delivery so that I was able to receive my new passport in less than 30 minutes. It should also be clear that everything was done without any extra fee or special relationship, if you might be wondering (The office lady even refused to let me know her name when I told her that I would write them a good review).I was greatly impressed and would like to take this opportunity to thank the nice men and women working in this office. They made Vietnamese people living overseas like us feel very happy and proud of Viet Nam!Dịch vụ xuất sắc!
