The moonlight inn
My wife and I where visiting from Ontario and happen on this little gem. Access by road ends today ( June 2nd. 2023) so we were fortunate to be able to drive in. This was their first day open of the year so great for us. The owners where friendly and very accommodating. Had a tasty lunch, and finished off with ice cream cones. Was surprised to see that they had Chapman ice cream from my home area in Ontario.

Place was relatively unsanitary cutlery placed on the table without napkins before wiping the table. Food was unsatisfying, fries came out uncooked and hard. Chicken fingers were fine. Had a moon burger and tasted bland. Asked for honey dill and waiter forgot. Food was also very pricy for the quality.

Charming doesn't say enough.Ambience, music the food, everything was idyllic. I had the veggie burger and fries. A+++. Awesome taste and very substantial.Highly recommended.

Great burgers and amazing fries! Poutine was decent - sauce was OK but overall impressed given they actually use cheese curds. Bonus points!

When I was growing up, there just wasn’t any more important institution than the Moonlight. In addition to the top quality fare, the atmosphere of family it fostered always made me feel home. I now understand that two of my old acquaintances have taken over ownership. The place couldn’t be in better hands! The moon is an inalienable part of beach life!!!I love you guys,Crazy Jim

Great service. Food and ice cream is delicious and well priced. A must for anyone visiting in the summer. I mean.. it's a 100 year old building! You gotta check out this icon in Victoria Beach.

Come for the nostalgia. Old fashioned stools and a short-order kitchen. Hand-scooped ice cream and an entirely laid back vibe make this a proper beach bistro. No alcohol, alas.Pricing is a bit beachy" (high) but quality is fine."

This review is from 2019: Not sure what happened to this place. Only a couple of flavours of ice cream and a regular cone and at 5.00 for a single scoop. Far cry from the selection of ice cream, cones, and toppings in previous years. Also, it cost two dollars for a single game of pinball. Seriously?The response from Moonlight Inn is from 2022 before I went back and tried again. I don't believe the same owners have this place now. This review was pre-pandemic. I will be going in a couple of weeks to check it out again and will update my review.I went back and staff was very pleasant. I had a quesadilla and fries which was over 20.00 but not entirely unexpected for the beach in high season. The quesadilla was good and the fries great as they are homemade. Portions are good.
