My family knew the original owners. Those were the days of good food.Now I'm Embarrassed to come here. The only thing good is the sauce and the scenery. The bread is low quality and a bit rubbery. The veal is very tough and I pull the whole thing out of the sandwich when I take a bite.Bring back the good sandwiches. I don't mind paying more. I want quality. I want the sandwich that built this brand.

Always great tasting sandwiches! (The eggplant parmesan was super yummy!) Consistent quality between locations!This location has ample free parking.But the entrance does not have power/handicap accessible doors.Women's washroom was very clean. (Although I overheard that the men's washroom was not so?)

I've been going to this place for many years. The food is pricey but it's really good and the portions are large. I always get the veal sandwich and it's delicious. Keep in mind parking is tight during the busy hours. If you haven't tried this place you need to try it at least once.

I ordered off Uber eats and asked for sauce on the side and extra sauce and that’s what they sent over with a cute note, I just ate the sandwich and I think I’m gonna have to go to the hospital because I don’t think this erection is going to go away for at 4 hours

We got their Meatball Sandwich. This Meatball Sandwich is NO JOKE, it came with 3 MASSIVE Meatballs between their chewy Bun, layered with Onion, Cheese, and their signature Marinara Sauce! The Meatballs were flavourful, tender, adding Onion & Cheese was worth it, and their Marinara Sauce had the perfect sourness and sweetness, what a gorgeous and filling Sandwich!

I love California Sandwich but dislike this location. Haven’t been to this location since pre covid and ended going today. I ordered my spicy veal sandwich with cheese, mushroom and extra sauce. I got my order which wasnt done right. The sandwich was the most dry veal sandwich Ive had. Cheese was minimal and peppers werent added. I am very disappointed. Order was made in a rush and is reflected in the quality. You can tell the this is the most dry veal sandwich. I said something about it and I was just given extra sauce on the side. Its not the same when thel bread isnt soaked with the sauce along with the veal. Just not the same.

Good food, generous portions that’s reasonably priced. Had the veal sandwich with fries - they are always consistent with their food quality. Also had the white chicken lasagna and kale salad from the hot counter. Lasagna was served lukewarm but otherwise it was tasty. Kale sandwich was well dressed but I would prefer that the kale is cut in smaller pieces. Tiramisu and cheesecake were very good. Note: when ordering at the hot counter you need to speak up to be heard as there is not a proper queue. Overall we were pleased with our meal.

4 stars because of these things;Ordered steak, thats real meat, appreciated.Had no salad in according to the recipe,topping are extra by pay and so much pricey, 1.79 for only one topping is much bro. Anyway one steak 12.99 with two toppings and dring will coat you more than 20 which is highly expensive!Tips;Order online and get it by person wich seems to be abit cheaper.One sanwich is almost enough for two people, skinny lady and a man!Thx
