This company produces custom cabinets and sliding doors. I stopped by to get the replacement parts and was very impressed by the level of service after couple of technitians/agents gave me a demo on fixing my sliding doors. Judging by the people I spoke with they know their business. The show room displays a good selection of sample materials and parts to choose from. Free customer parking is available. The only thing that threw me off was the quoted labour price for replacing the sliding doors rollers- $1k for the work you can most likely do yourself in couple of hours. Well, this is how contractors are these days - every small sneeze on your property will cost you around 1K because they know you depend on them. Wake up call to learn to be more self reliant.I was told the company deals with private custom orders. I don't know what pricing is like but do recommend checking this place out when you plan your next closet or doors renovation.

My condo building has Komandor sliding glass doors installed in every unit. After a few years the rollers in both doors in my unit failed. Even though there is a 10 year warranty, I was quoted $700 plus tax for the repair and parts. So instead I just purchased the replacement parts (over $200) and will find a different person to do the installation. This has occurred in many units in my building. Not sure why the warranty has not been honoured when it's their roller parts that failed. The least they could do is provide the parts without charge. To sum up, the doors look great but they failed in function after a few years and owners had to pay for repairs.

Outstanding! Just had our closet completed by Komandor Closets and could not be any happier with the design, installation and quality. Gabriel (designer) was fanatastic in taking my changing requirements to deliver a design that maximized the available space, was totally functional and took in to account the types storage space I needed. Gabriel explained the different material options, doors and lighting to meet my budget.The installation team of John and Matt were fantastic. The took the time to understand the design and the build. Their workmanship, quality and attention to detail were excellent. When challenged with small issues, they came up with solutions that made the finished closet perfect. Both were very professional, friendly and explained everything. I would invite them back on my next closet installation!Thanks Team Komandor!

Komandor product and their team exceeded our expectations. We ordered 3 wardrobe doors from Komandor in 3 different rooms. I was impressed by the process from Sales (Lucian) to Installation. The quality of the doors and installation process that was done by Jai and Sebastian. The team arrived on time, been very professional during the whole process. No surprises, no hiccups. Very happy to see the end result. Definitely recommend, the extra cost worth every cent.

Extremely overpriced and slow to respond! I approached the company showroom in Mississauga last week looking for a simple twin murphy bed. One of the managers(I think) showed me an example and asked Bhumika, the Senior Design Consultant, to calculate the cost. I told her that I need a basic twin murphy bed in the cheapest white color, no shelves, no cabinets, nothing else, just a bed. She said that she needs a couple of days to give me the price and 4-8 weeks to fulfill an order. Are you serious? Finally, on the sixth day, I reminded her that I am still waiting for the price. She replied back, the price was $3,100+HST! If this is the factory price, what would be a retail? During these days I found 2 more companies(not factories) selling the similar beds for less than half price and 3 weeks to get it installed.In response from the owner. I honestly wanted to become your client. But your people did everything to show me that you are not interested in clients like me.

Quality and workmanship is really good. Installers take time to ensure everything fits. Had 2 closets - sliding doors and 1 Murphy bed completed. One negative is prices. They are very high. Was hoping to get another project completed with them but could not agree on the price.

Great experience with Agnes and team on the purchase and installation of a glass partition wall with sliding glass doors. Final product looks great and good value for money. Would recommend.

Overall, my experience with Komandor was satisfactory. The installer was excellent but the designer was not.My experience with the installer, Daniel, was stellar. He made sure that everything was completed correctly. Daniel and his coworker did a wonderful job removing the old doors, patching the holes, and installing the new doors and shelving. I was supposed to remove these items before they arrived, but I forgot to do so. Komandor was nice enough to waive the charge for this. I accepted full responsibility for the error, and made sure that I corrected the situation appropriately with the installer. Kudos to Daniel and his partner for going the extra mile. It was very much appreciated.My experience with the designer, Louise, was fine until I decided to make a change, which she misunderstood. Despite the fact that I emailed her and had a telephone conversation about the change, the final plans for the closets didn’t accurately reflect the desired change. Luckily, Daniel was able to make part of the desired change happen. However, the end product is still not exactly what was expected. After expressing my concerns to Louise, she didn’t take responsibility for her error. I felt that my concerns were brushed off. Considering I payed $11K for three closets, I feel that someone from Komandor should have taken the time to correct the situation in some way. After reaching out to her post-installation, I received no reply whatsoever. Leaving a customer with no resolution is unacceptable. I’m not sure how Komandor can allow designers to ignore the concerns of customers.In general, I’m happy with the quality of the product and the quality of the work. I’d highly recommend Daniel because of the outstanding job he did, and his ability to make changes and adapt the design to what was excepted. I’d recommend Komandor to anyone who wishes to spend a bit more money for a better quality custom product, but I’d definitely opt for a different designer. I feel that designers, especially senior designers, should be much more thorough and detail-oriented. A mistake like this should not happen when you pay a premium price.

My wife and I just had sliding closet doors fitted along the whole length of our bedroom and couldn't be happier with the result.We had enquired at a few other companies but Komandor were very friendly and and pleasant from the first email. We popped down to their showroom and were again made to feel welcome. They listen to you and give you time to think and we had a very reasonable quote the next day.They then came came round for an onsite inspection, again very curious and professional, and installed the doors and tracks the next week, a two week turnaround in total.They have a great selection of finished and solutions, the products are solid and you can feel the build quality, and the people are great to deal with.I would definitely recommend them and we'll certainly use them again in the future, if the need arises.
