Awesome place to get flooring

I would have to rate this experience as terrible at best .. The first contact was over the phone .. My wife called to get some information on our job and felt she couldn’t talk to the sales person .. he had a lot to say but didn’t let her speak .. She asked me to deal with him as she felt that maybe I would be better suited to talk to him so I agreed .. At the first encounter he advised that the flooring may be over our budget..We did agree to go over our budget to get what we want .. so he took this as no expense to be spared and added a bunch of things that we didn’t need to our quote .. including subfloor which we already have ..After receiving the quote me and my wife decided to go back to the drawing board to bring the cost down .. As we found a few different flooring styles that we liked we texted him the photos and asked him if he could work with that and advised him that we were in the neighbourhood .. We asked him if we could pick up samples curb-side .. He said he was working on estimates and he would figure it out which was not a response to our question..We decided to go for lunch before we stopped by .. once in the lot we texted to let him know we were there and waited ten minutes before we got a sorry response..He came out with the samples we wanted and presided to tell us in a condescending manner that this was the wrong flooring and said it would trap moisture.. I asked if there was a waterproof membrane that we could use and he responded “I may as well buy a swimming pool, to cut the conversation short”..He then referenced the second sample flooring that we were looking at saying it was a peel and stick and would peel like the flooring we currently have in our kitchen .. My wife taken back tried to say that our kitchen flooring is not peeling and he cut her off saying that yes it is and that he seen it when he was at our house for his quote .. I won’t say he was yelling because that isn’t quite correct, but his voice was elevated to a tone that made my wife uncomfortable and upset me to say the least ..Had he taken the time to listen to my wife he would have known he was wrong because we do not have peel and stick or glued flooring in our kitchen we have floating interlocking flooring which will not peel .. if there was issues it would separate or break .. We have none of these issuesYou would think as a good salesman he would have brought out flooring in the same style and look that would work for a bathroom application instead of insulting our current floor wrongly and not letting us get a word in edgewiseThis salesman may not have gotten the commission he wanted off of this floor but had he treated us right he surly would have made some at some point considering we still have to put flooring in our kitchen, dining room, living room, rec room, hallway, and three bedrooms .. it’s unfortunate because we would have come back if we seen good customer service ..

Andrew is a delight to deal with. He went above and beyond to try and work with me which is greatly appreciated. Staying beyond store hours was appreciated as well.Although I did not purchase anything, I will most certainly be back when I need flooring again.

Staffs were very help full and courteous

Good prices and amazing service from Andrew. They have lots of choices and we're accommodating since their regular hours are mostly during work hours. But we called and Andrew stayed late to let us take a look at stock. Would recommend.

Our experience with Carpet One was exactly what we had hoped for professional, excellent customer service all around. They have the best tile and carpet layers I have worked with and again very professional .Last but not least the staff took care of our every need right down to assisting us in moving a couple pieces of furniture during the process ..bravo to a business that still believes in customer satisfaction!!Many Thanks Jeanine Scott

Excellent products and services

Extremely disappointed with the service. Was given a written price on back splash tiles and put a 25% deposit to order our tiles and when they came in they would not honor the written receipt price we were given. They wanted to charge us double. Even told my spouse that it was his fault not theirs. How is it our fault when you wrote the quote. I am in tears and Extremely disappointed. I will not step foot in the store again! :,(
