Danforth Music Hall
The Danforth is my favourite music venue in the city (with Massey close behind). What gives DMH the edge for me is have two bars (East & West) on the GA floor so you don’t have to leave the concert to get a drink. The Hall also used to be a cinema so the floor is slightly angled, allowing you to see over people in front of you. The staff are fantastic too.

This is such a beautiful vintage venue. The size lends to the show being fabulously intimate. Great sound. Great view from orchestra seats. Love! Sparks were fantastic!

Absolutely loved the venue! Its beautiful inside and has an amazing cooling system loll when you're dancing for hours at a concert, A good cooling system is HIGHLY appreciated loll. And the security they had was just absolutely amazing. My friends and i went to Hippie Sabotage. The way the security was constantly passing water bottles to people, asking people if they were okay and how they were doing. They were genuinely looking out for everyone in the crowd, and it was amazing to see. Even told one of them afterward how much we appreciated that and wish that there was more security like him.

Definitely not my favourite venue.We went to see fantastic five of 14 and although we had the closest seats, we were pretty far from the stage and couldn’t see the stage. The person in control of the spot light did a very spotty job - there was only 1 light and the back up dancers were in the dark. The stage and venue was dirty. The sound was terrible too and I could hear the people speaking around me better than the performers.Ticket master had a different time than the star venue and we waited outside in the freezing cold for over an hour.

Always enjoy The Danforth. They've upgraded the washrooms since the last time I was there. The women's washrooms are now on the right after entering the venue and the men's washroom is where the unisex washroom used to be. I'm glad for this change because it wasn't working as it was intended to. Otherwise, the venue was just as nostalgic as the last time I was there. Great security, much more thorough this time around and very friendly when asking questions. The sound was good, not too overpowering and definitely no need for ear plugs unless you are right beside the speakers. Enjoyed my visit and look forward to visiting again soon.

What a nostalgic place. Its incredible. We sat in the balcony seats and they were awesome. It's a big place but not in the way that you can see the stage fine from anywhere. It's the old style Seinfeld vibe both outside and in. Wonderful sound and lighting.

Saw Thrice here. Great venue with excellent acoustics, staging and lighting. Standard selection of beers at the bars.Note: These pics are 1.5-2x zoom. We were seated on the far right hand side section, 2 rows from the back.

Decent venue, lots of space and great sound. Was at a sold out show and tons of space to enjoy the concert. I would however suggest wear light clothing as it get relatively hot in the theatre. Staff was great and respectful.
