Not happy with the place. They take kids wen they shouldn't. They staff are rude. The front desk is un helpful. Treat you like you are lower then them.

I've had good experiences and bad experiences. They didn't get me help when I asked. I had to fail before I got help.

This is a sad unproductive,place . workers who have no idea as to how to support a family or keep them together. Do not ask these people for support,it will only go against you and your family.

I don't understand how these social workers live with themselves by telling parents they're about keeping families together as they are ripping them apart for the most miniscule reasons. The most disorganized organization around.

Being. A foster parent for over 40 years [ and yes I still do ) they do their very best to kept siblings together. I thought for 20 seconds before I took a sibling group of 4, and. 7 years later I am still smiling. During this time I took many different groups of 2 siblings and we just all blended in. Yes, more work but then rewards are great. I also welcome parents into my home rather than them having to visit with the children in a office somewhere. I like to get to know the parents and it is easier on the children in a home setting. When this happens it is traumatic on both children and parents. I try very hard to make things as easy as i can for everyone. Some social workers may think I am a pain but I am here for the children. Just thought I would let you know my thoughts. Penny

My experience with with them have been good and bad like for example I had workers who I really connected with only for them to switch my worker 5 times already of the 2 and a half years I've been with them cause all of them workers are overloaded with cases and I hardly talk to my worker cause she busy with other cases. If You are willing to work with them they will support but if your against them they are truley your worst enemy

If your willing to work with VACFSS they will do everything to keep your family together. We appreciate the support we receive.

They hire before the kids even graduate and they are very very very horrible and yes they will make you clinically depressed and suicidal that's their first job is to rip the child away from their parents but if your junky you are set they will help you with food drugs and money

This place is the worst run place ever. They lie more then they tell the truth. I was told that they are all about keeping families together that's a 100% lie! I would never call them to save any child. They do nothing but break families up from the first day they take children. BEWARE" of this place."
