Closest fife to my place and have enjoyed going here. Yesterday I had a awful experience and will probably be avoiding this location because of it.I ordered my usual beef on multigrain with a slice of chocolate pudding pie. The pie is usually delicious, but this time it was unusually thick and didn't break up in my mouth. I brought it to the counter and asked for a refund. The lady helping me goes to get approval from an older gentlemen who was sitting in the dining area, as she walks back to process my order, he yells from the back of the restaurant MAKE SURE YOU ASK WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT"Appalled by the customer service I yelled back "it didn't taste good"Embarrassed I left. Won't be returning to this location."

You can never go wrong with Fife. The freshest breads and veggies make the best sandwiches in Edmonton hands down.Extra bonus points because their soup and pies are also to die for.

Cute sandwich shop/cafe. Was quite the experience from start to finish. I got a tuna sandwich & a pecan pie and both were absolutely delicious.

Seriously good sandwiches with the most fresh bread and toppings. Many years ago I discovered this place and fell in love with sprouts on my sandwiches. Highly recommend stopping in if you have the chance!

This place has considerabley gone done hill. I wish the owner of Fifendekel would stop in and do quality control because I am sure they would roll in their grave. Today I ordered the autoban sandwich. The tripple meat sandwich and got about half a slice of each meat. The cheese slice was larger than the meat. The meat didnt even fill one peice of bread. They also did not have the dill mayo(which an older staff heard the new staff said no they had none and whipped me up a little batch). Overall still amazing bread and sandwich toppings. Just sad about the inconsistencies and poor portions at this location. The chocolate cream pie was a chunky gross consistency which is rare for Fifendekel. Lastly as I paid I asked the staff what her favorite thing to eat on the menu was and her response was absolutely nothing

My wife brought home a Montreal beef sandwich and a Turkey sandwich for me, she had two lil slices of meat and it was on one side of the bread, my Turkey sandwich had 3 slices along with a piece of cherry pie and apple pie for $28.00 what a waste of time and money, this place used to be great but has lost its quality. Would not visit again.

My sister's 18th birthday party was today and all she asked for was one of their paradise cream pie, so my mother called every Fifendekel in the city to see if any had whole pies explaining the situation. This location happened to have 2 whole pies freshly made and she asked if they would hold one for her, she would roughly be there in a hour. The person on the phone took her name and said it would be held aside for her till she got there. She raced to the other side of the city, when she got there she gave her name and the employee said they sold the pie because management said she wasn't there within the hour. Poor management, very disappointed that this is the customer service.

Omg, I never knew a simple sandwich can taste so good. Very quick service, great selection of sandwiches. Awesome environment. Highly recommend
